I suppose you are right, although you can usually build a pretty decent PC by browsing the sales at newegg and ordering parts while they are cheap. I saw an ATI 4870HD 1 gig card for $130 after MIR. That is an awesome deal.
Hell even the 4770HD can max fallout 3 with 2xAA for £78

It's not Bethesda's fault, Microsoft bought exclucivity for fallout 3. You should be angry at PS3 for not shelling out cash for exclucivity before microsoft.

Operation: Anchorage was terrible except for the item rewards at the end.
The Pitt was ok but had a lot of bugs when it was released.

I guess the only good thing about the dlc so far is the end game rewards so you are not missing out on much.

Oh and the next one, Broken Steel, I hope is going to be good.

yes this is fucking bullshit , i even e-mail 'd bethesda and they didn't write back, first a nice note then after the latest dlc including the raising of the level cap i got real mean , this little problem of dlc for 360 only is sony's fault they are to blame too , and as for sony being a dick about dlc most of us don't have or won't use a credit card to buy dlc and with no dlc on disc we are screwed and the psn cards aren't available where i live

I know what you mean: Broken Steel (if it worked) was the one piece of dlc I was interested in too.

Look on the bright side, your machine doesn't self destruct. Between dlc and a working console, I'll take the working console every time.

My solution...get a PC...no, seriously, it's so much better than both the 360 and PS3 and I also happen to own a PS3 as well as a PC. As a proud owner of Fallout 3 for PC, I can enjoy all DLC for it. Best choice I ever made buying a PC. If you make the change, I can guarantee you'll agree with me and all the other PC owners out there on this one.

DLC aint really a big loss, it's all about the future of PS3 Exclusives.

So far, the DLC hasn't been worth it.

To me all this complaining feels like the terrible exclusive Wii games that aren't being released on other platforms. I don't mean to insult the Wii or its owners, I'm talking about the non-game type of games that's being released on that console.

You chose.... poorly.

(If you know what movie that line is from, Kudos.)

On Topic: I have to agree with the consensus here, there are more 360s in more homes than PS3s so Bethesda went with the winner obviously. Sony kicks all kinds of ass with the PS2, but i guess you cant win em all.
Lmao! I watched that movie earlier today!

we Payed for the game. Why are we not getting what we deserve, We pay Alot of out Money for a game, I personly Love Fallout 3 but am sick of Microsoft just buying deals because they have more money, sure sony make developers pay but who doesn't?
Microsoft doesn't charge as far as I know.
Also, you did pay for the game. And you got that. You payed the $60 for Fallout 3 and you got it. Live with it.

That's not the consensus here. I'd read SmilingKitsune's post for a reasonable explanation.

Nobody will listen to that, although I completely agree. I also own a PS3, a Wii, and a good gaming computer (honestly couldn't find a reason to buy a 360), and I can honestly say the PC is really the only gaming console I would ever need. But, people are set in their ways.

Well you have to remember that bethesda is a terrible company that makes terrible games. Would you rather have Bethesda give you DLC or shove a big black dildo up your ass? It's a difficult question to answer.

It's actaully nothing to do with Bethesda being money grubbing, it's because of their issues with PSN, mALX could explain it a lot better than I can, but she's not here so you'll have to make do with me.

Sony charge developers for all DLC they put on PSN, whether it's free or not, Microsoft don't do this as they charge their users for Live, there are also some incompatability problems with the PS3, the 360 is similar to a PC in terms of architecture, while the PS3 is not, this means they have to code a lot of things again for the PS3 versions of their games, and with the already mentioned cost of putting DLC on PSN, it would be time consuming and costly for them.
I'm not entirely sure about the specifics of all this, as I said mALX would do a much better job of explaining it.
And lastly, I am in no way, shape or form trying to start a squablle here, I too wish the DLC was available to the PS3 owners, I'm just hoping to help shed a little light on the issue.
I didn't believe your comment until I just searched myself - what is wrong with Sony are they such morons that they think developers wont care about the charge - I never thought badly of Sony until this point in time - my god what money grabbers
Sony aint really the money grabbers in this

sony doesnt charge for online, must get income from publishers

Microsoft charges its players for online, Doesnt need money from publishers

So its a +/- on both parts, more of a minus for sony though because publishers have the option of just going to microsoft

Its not because PS3 is the smaller marker what buisness sence is that hey we can sell to three potential markets ir two hmmm... oh wait. #microsoft either gave Bethesda an ultimatum or shoveled money into their pockets my bets on the latter world of buisness though I would rather burn money than give it to m$ in princaple.

Though why would anyone buy a bethesda game for a console the mod support they get and potential of a pc trumphs anything a console could ever muster.
