Fallout 3 on PS3...

I was hoping some fellow gamers could shed some light on something for me...
IS the PS3 version of Fallout 3 (original, not GOTY) still full of bugs (including some rumoured to damage the hardware), or have Bethseda patched all the major flaws?

NOTE: This is not asking for a format argument (ie. 'its better on 360'), I just want to know which bugs are fixed, which aren't and if its actually worth buying.

My PS3 Fallout 3, bought used, has worked for me with no major bugs or mess-ups so, I assume so

If Bethesda didn't fix the bugs by now then they deserve a serious kick in the nuts. But giving the time since launch the bugs have most likely been fixed.

I played over 100 hours of Fallout 3 on the PS3. It froze maybe 8 times, and I never had a major bug affect my game.

For me it ran better than when I owned it on 360.

That's just my personal experience though.

Only downside is 6GB manditory installation. Though I do have GOTY edition so that might be part of it.

I'd say just get the GOtY It has alll the expansions and you get to live(and continue playing) after you beat the main storymode of the game rather than die regradless.

As much as I love Bethesda, you're right. There will never be a Bethesda game without a good number of bugs.

OT: As for the serious ones on the PS3, I'm sure they are fixed. I have a couple good friends who play Fallout 3 on the PS3 every day and they have no issues.

I haven't found any bugs that are PS3 unique if that's what you mean.

Like most people have said the game is from Bethesda. Bugs are kinda there calling card.

there are some bugs in Fallout 3, but they're generally few and far between.

Other than that, it's still one of the best games I ever played, I hope you enjoy it.
