Hey guys, I am going to be DMing a game set in the Fallout Universe's version of Canada. I have some help online, but I thought I would bring it here for some more stuff, so here what we have.
-A cult that follows the teachings of Don Cherry, they all wear flamboyant Pre-War suits
-A cult centred around the fountain On Parliament Hill, called the Followers of The Eternal --Flame, sacrifice by making the flames gigantic and roasting the victims alive
-Labrador will be made like The Chrysalids
-An enclave station sweeping through the Territories by offering protection from Yetis(Hairy Deathclaws bred by Enclave scientist)
-Arctic Deathclaws (use their white coloured fur to blend into snowy areas)
-Quebec basically holed off their entire borders after being annexed, they offer missions to drive of the Enclave and expand their power
-a bunch of undetermined factions are fighting for control to rule and rebuild the country
-Intelligent Polar Bears
-an abundance of wolves
-flesh eating, bone plated, hyper aggressive moose with razor sharp antlers, sometimes rode on by Mounties deck out in Power Suits
-A mission involving going to Anchorage, Alaska to scavenge for left over tech from the big fight
-a group of warriors, called the Brothers of the Maple, fighting to protect the holy ground(The Hockey Hall of Fame, but they think it is a graveyard for fallen warriors) against the Senators of Frost, their ultimate goal is to find their holy grail, The Stanley Cup
-A vault where people periodically disappear
-BC has a lot of the major cities still standing, have large amounts of pre war tech, but surrounded by lots of forest. Most of them there are nature worshippers and pagan
-Alberta has had great advances in technology, due to the Alberta Oil Sands. have fascist ideals, fight with communist New Winnipeg Alliance
-An occurrence where the travel back in time, and have to destroy the machinery they were sent out to repair
-groups in Nova Scotia live in metal huts. The strongest tribe are the Sunvales, the leader likes to listen to Pre war rock and roll, growing herbs, and playing with his "kittens", actually mutated bobcats and lynxes he befriended
-Giant stone eating beavers and turn it into naturally occurring cement
- a banker's great grandson, who uses the money and technology stored to influence towns and cities. The Grandson wants to turn Canada into a giant war machine to conquer the U.S. for himself
-vault 67=80% french, 20% english
-vault 68=80% english, 20% french
-Vault 44= electrical gear is made to slowly rust but never break, lights would flicker on and off every so often, and 80% of the entertainment tapes are horror films
-Vault 105=All entertainment is based at children under 10
-The Maritmes are constantly being attacked by ROCK LOBSTERS!
-A vault where every can only speak english, but all the books, entertainment tapes and computers are in french
-You collect Roll up the rims to gain access into the Tim Hortons headquarters, and when 100 are collected, they find the unique weapon, Gretzky's Stick
-semi mutated beavers that build traps instead of dams
-Polar Yao Guai
-Large Porcupines that shoot their poison quills at enemies
-Wolverines, have razor sharp claws and have a mating call of BUBBUBBUBBUBBUB
-A giant super mutant behemoth who believes he is the reincarnation of Paul Bunyan, and wears clothes accordingly, followed by a giant mutated Bison
-The Montreal Biodome is home to a bunch of mutated animals, but would be great to home crops there, due to it's diverse ecosystem
-A television show that broadcast a pit of people that commits suicide every day, in a mass suicide pact. SOmetimes, the producers go to local towns, round up the people, and dump them in their for ratings. It is one of the most popular shows in the Winter Wasteland
-A unique weapon from the Quebec quest, called the Separatist, an axe shaped like a Fleur-di-lis, and caused additional damage every time it hits a certain limb consecutively

So guys, if you have any ideas, I would be grateful

Don Cherry would probably get himself killed if he survived the nuclear war. Either he would or his ego would. Regardless, I don't think he has a strong enough following to have some sort of faction to be named after him. Does Rick Mercer have such a following? David Suzuki? Lester Pearson?

Not Cherry, just like videos and audios of him, and they follow him for his advice. Also, the man beat out our first prime minister and the inventor of the telephone for the top 10 Canadians of all times

He's not even on the list, besides, what's more fun to watch, a cult that follows an agressive man's every word while wearing weird pre-war suits, or some scientist that like the guy who invented penicillin?

One mission you should have is to go to D.C. and burn down the White House. x3~

What? That'd be awesome if they did that again....

or is that just me thinking that?

Oh the system will run with d100, and every time there is combat, they get a certain amount of AP, and everything the do cost AP, and at the end of it, their turn ends

How about a brother Hood of steel chapter placed there, or was that topic already discussed and established?

Cool idea. On the hockey guys-you should have them mention the guys in Fallout 3. Kinda like an Easter Egg.
Oh, and Eskimos. Gotta have Eskimos. I love their pies.

Well, they had the idea of them being in power armour decked out in a Mountie motif, while riding the horror moose, but I am open to ideas. how do you think the Brotherhood of Steel should be done

How could we do Eskimos? I am open to any ideas

Maybe have them be another faction? A Neutral faction. Or be wandering in the Tundra, get caught in a Blizzard and have tehm save the party.

Wow, I had a good laugh reading this. I think the Brothers of the Maple defending the Hockey hall of fame was an awesome touch. Very, very clever.

But it just occurred to me: there aren't many scorpions in Canada. But the maritimes have to deal with Radlobsters. THE HORROR!

Oh, and Winnipeg is in Manitoba. Not Alberta.

And you might have trouble finding interest for this. You didn't really set it up as an RP. There's no place for the characters to start off, there's no basic outline of a story, there's no character sheet template, etc. It looks like you just made a thread to pitch out your ideas.
