It's coming with a Hardcore Mode which should add an extra level of difficulty. You have to eat, drink and sleep to survive (so no running around for 48 hours straight on a diet of Stimpaks), Stimpaks heal over time rather than straight away, and ammo actually has a weight, limiting how much you can carry. No effect on damage or anything (I assume difficulty comes into that) but it should make it interesting as it will force you to tweak your playstyle.Skullkid4187 said:Eh....it will lose my interest easily just like fallout 3 did. What this guy said. I expect a good story with improved mechanics over FO3, but bugs up the ass and a sub-par ending which they had to rush because they spent too much time elsewhere; an ending which the mod community will then 'correct' for them.Irridium said:I honestly don't know. On one hand its an Obsidian game, so the story will be far better than Fallout 3's.
On the other hand, its an Obsidian game. On a Bethesda engine. It will most likely be bugged to all hell and might have a crappy ending.
There should be at the expo I'm going to!Ultratwinkie said:there's a demo?AmrasCalmacil said:I'm pretty sure this has been done to death.
Bethesda will give them time, I'm probably going to be playing a demo on Friday, so, yeah, I look forward to it. I'm sure it'll all work the way it's meant to.
Also you mean publishers, not developers.
Excuse me?mrx19869 said:i am waiting to see if the game will be like fallout 2, because fallout 3 was sorta like fallout 1...
