Here is the intro chapter to a fanfic that i am making about Fallout. I hope you like it and please post ideas for my story and i might consider them.
Fallout: The end of days
War, war never changes. Since the dawn of human kind, men have fought over the resources of this world. Great war's where killing, poverty and stavation becomes routine. The wars raged on for days, weeks, years and even decades. This was until mankind created the ultimate weapon, a weapon that would cause a enormous amount destruction and death in its wake. It was the year 2077 when this weapons destructive power came truly apparent. Women, Children, Men, even the animals and plantlife were not safe from the terrible destruction of this man made weapon. It led to mankind being forced to take shelter in undeground refuges known as vaults. Then a few decades came and went and it was time for mankind to suface once again and to rebuilt the world that was destroyed by their hands.

The new world was not the way humanity planned it. New threats began to arise, the super mutants who were twisted deformed foul beast who had no morals and killed only for pleasure. The super mutant horde was becoming bigger by the day. That was until the legendary Vault dweller came up to the surface and foiled the master's plans to destroy the world. He was revered to as a hero but when he came back to the vault he had protected for so long. He was exiled and forced to live a new life out there in the wastes. He then founded the village of Arroyo where he lived until his death. News of his great deeds past from village to village and is now a story that passes down to the next generation.
...but that's a different story
A little over a hundred years after the vault dweller liberated the people from the super mutant threat. A small merchant family is delivering supplies to various small villages dotted around the wastes. They enjoy a simple life on the roads and don't share the hardship that many people face. In this family, a small Girl who is sweet and inoccent enough not to be tainted by this dangerous new world. Though that is about to change when her simple life is turned upside down by the newly discovered hardships and difficulties of this new world.
