fallout why have you cursed me

recently i noticed i was putting some of the things in the fallout games into my own life. i didnt know why at first then i realized it. im a addicted to it. my girlfriend pointed it out to me but i didnt believe her. but its true fallout curses all who play it. if you dont belive me then go out and play any of the fallout games (peferably fallout 3 or new vegas) you will play for hours without noticing it. i want all of you to tell me what you think maybe im just crazy but i think its true.

Fallout isn't the only game you play where the hours slide on by, for me its Civ 5. I would hardly call that a curse, I'd call that a lack of time-keeping.

I blew 5 hours on Minecraft the other day. It's not just Fallout, it's many games. They suck you in. I think this is a GOOD thing, because I don't have much else to do with five hours of my evening other than jack it or sit on my ass and stare at the wall.

Fallout, like any good game that you can reeeeally sink into, has a tendancy of picking you up, and dropping you off several hours after the point of uncomfortable.

Fallout did it to me, Deadspace as well. Darksiders, not so much but I did have a job. Metal Gear Solid 4 was pretty damn good at it from the simple factor the levels are so freaking huge they need loading screens in the middle of the longer ones...

The most recent offenders for me are Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion (ironic...) and Guild Wars. Elder Scrolls more for the sheer amount of modding I do to it, but well, my friend bought it for me TO mod in the first place, so I'm gonna happily mod the crap out of it.

Eh, this has happened to me with Fable III, Oblivion, Viva Pinata, Banjo-Kazooie, FF's VII, X, X-2 and XIII, Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Football Manager 2006 and 09, Theme Hospital (And it's happening to me again right now, slowly losing time to it.) The Sims, CoD:MW, MW2, WaW and Blops, Hitman: Blood Money and many many more.

So yeah, it's not just the Fallout games that do this, it's pretty much every other ga- Oh, and MGS1, 2 and 3 did this to me BIG time. I really got into those games when I was playing them for the first time. So yeah, it's most games that do this to me. If they can pull me in, I'll be gone for hours.
