Fantasy fighting game combinations

So imagine in your minds if you will that a fighting game is being created in the style of super smash bros however the character roster is not limited to Nintendo specific characters, oh no, this games roster can consist of any game character from any video game that you can think of, no limitations.


So my question here on this fine day is as follows, are there any duo's, any combinations of characters you would like to see duke it out in the fighting arena for glory or simply beat the living snot out of each other?

Well first I'd scrap the smash bros gameplay model for something actually GOOD /troll

Then I'd proceed to make Guilty Gear vs Blazblue, and then the universe would end from the pure awesome. Pitting those two casts together with gameplay that is a fusion of Guilty Gears and Blazblues best elements to create something otherworldly awesome. Rapid cancels, false cancels, something akin to drives, ect....

So in a way, taking the Street Fighter x Tekken approach, but without the bullshitty parts. Tag teams, team fights, over 50 characters, crazy over the top technical nonsense, BEST SOUND TRACK EVER.

The minute you put the disc into the console and booted it up, the world is free to destroy itself now because the epitome of awesome has been achieved.

Just imagine trying to follow a match between Chipp Zanuff and Tao-kaka...I don't think the human eye would be able to register such insane speeds. Or Baiken vs Hakumen, the ultimate turtle match full of crazy counters. And Sol vs Ragna? Badass overload.
