This is the first video in a series I'm trying to create loosely labeled The Disc Swap Project. The aim is to bring great music and games together and create music videos that bond the two. My first effort is a combination of Far Cry 3 and Eyedea and Abilities, I hope you'll agree that the track fits the game like a glove.

The aim of the project is essentially to introduce people to music they may not have heard before through video games. Music is always better when you have something to associate it with, be it a person, a memory or in this case a game. The music video is a powerful tool that can visually convey the atmosphere of the music itself. I will be using mostly found gameplay and trailer footage achieve this, perhaps capturing my own gameplay in the future if this kicks off.

Whilst essentially just a bit of fun, I'd be interested to see whether the video encourages people to listen to more music by the same artist, or if they are already a fan whether it encourages them to play the game if they haven't already. Sorry, that's a bit garbled but I hope that makes sense.

Let me know what you guys think!

I believe it is against the rules to have links to the video. To embed videos, type youtube=D1zwYUe8-lg

You'll have to add these brackets [] to the video at the beginning of that code above and at the end of the code above (quote my message if you still don't get it; it'll let you see how to embed here). I would strongly recommend that you adjust your OP to this...

EDIT IN: Holy moley! No one ever listens to me when I give them my warning! This might be a first :) /EDIT

As to your video itself, it was a'ight. That music did NOT go well with that video at the beginning. The instruments themselves worked very well with the video but the guy singing did not mix with that video at all. The video was the slower and stealthier stuff and the singer sounded like someone had him slam a Red Bull or five before telling him to start rapping...though it did mesh much better towards the end of the video when the action started.

Thanks man, have adjusted the OP.
Thanks for your thoughts too. I personally like the way Eyedea seems to be losing his sh*t as the track builds, the aim was to start the vid off slow and build to a frantic pace to match the song. But I appreciate your opinion and thanks for taking the time to watch and for the embedding tutorial!
