Between the 3 confirmed DLC Camapgins they announced, I was most excited for this one. The Zombie Apocalypse second, the Martian Space Alien one third.
And the Vietnam War is a perfect setting and theme that fits FarCry right.

I haven't gotten a AAA game in ages, but if it means I can FINALLY get my Vietnam FPS/Apocalypse Now experience, I'll be breaking that pattern.

I got tired of 5 about half way through, but this looks pretty cool. Will probably pick it up again when the DLC drops
Dunno if I'll bother with it. I was really into FC5 for the first region. By the time I finished one region, I found the second to be a slog and stopped playing as much. It took weeks to get thru the third and finish the campaign because I just lost interest in playing and when I did play, I did the minimum to get the points i needed to finish.
It went on too long and the main issue was that there wasn't really any "game", only "gameplay". That's fine in ARPGs, but FC3 did it a lot better. I felt invested in the character and the world and that my actions had purpose. FC5 missed the mark quite a bit. The gameplay is good, but that doesn't make it a good game, sadly :-\

Looks more interesting than the main game. Why couldn't this be FC5? I get it when they do a Far Cry 5 complete edition.
