So we all hear that fast food 3 times a day is bad for your health, but that doesn't stop me on the days that I do just that, so today, I had a variety of fast food, including McDonald's, Long John Silvers, and Kentucky Fried Chicken (and a side trip to Arby's for several orders of Curly fries).

So my question to the escapists that DO like fast food, what are some of your favorite fast food items?

For me, here's a good top ten:

10. Long John Silver's Fish Planks
9. Long John Silver's crab cakes
8. McDonald's Big Mac
7. McDonald's Chicken Nuggets
6. Arby's Curly Fries
5. KFC Double Down Sandwhich
4. KFC Bacon Cheese Bowl
3. KFC Chicken (preferably the breasts, but it's all good)
2. Sonic's Chicago Dog & Blue Cheese Bacon Dog
1. Whataburger Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwhich

Wish we had more Long John Silver's around here. There's only one that I know of and it's plugged right into some busy urban section a good 45 minutes from my house, which really just defeats the purpose of fast food.

For me, gotta love a little Taco Bell. It's my fall back. A steak Grilled Stuffed Burrito has gotten me through many a gaming night.

Arby's is awesome when it's open, though my gaming usually takes place too late at night for Arby's. When I can get it though, I love either a turkey bacon ranch market-fresh sandwich, or a classic Beef'n'Cheddar.

The award for most-frequented goes to Jack-in-the-Box, for the simple fact that they are open 24/7 here. McDonalds is also open 24/7, but I don't like it very much and it's further away, which leads to few trips there. I find myself most often ordering the Sirloin Burger, although occasionally I will go for a spicy chicken sandwich or a sourdough jack (first thing I ever had at Jack in the Box, it sold it to me)

Hmm... I may just have to put down what I ate at college this week:

McDonalds - 2 Double Cheeseburgers + Medium Fries (Monday)
Smithys - Bacon, Sausage and Egg sandwitch with brown sauce (Tuesday)
McDonalds - Big Mac + Cheeseburger + Medium Fries (Wednesday)

I don't really eat much fast food other than at Maccys or Smithys...

Mr.K. said:
Anything made at home, I know what's in it and it actually tastes good.
Oh please, everyone knows what's in fast food:

Grease, fat, chemicals and artificial flavoring.

It's good once you give it a chance and ignore the fact that about 80-90% of it isn't actual 'food'.

I haven't eaten fast food in about year or so. If I had to pick I guess I'd go with Wendy's, they have some great fries.

I don't like any of the chains but I do adore takeaway Chinese food. Specifically sweet & sour chicken balls, crispy seaweed, sesame prawn toast and salt & pepper chicken wings.
I also love takeaway pizzas, preferably calzone.

#1 - A&W

#2 - Arbys

#3 - Burgerking

That's how my system works. Lately I've been trying to reign in my fastfood spending...

I haven't had much fast food recently but I can do a favorite things based on the restaurant.

Chik-Fil-A - Spicy Chicken Sandwich with a Cookies N Cream shake

McDonalds - McFatass (adding a McChicken Sandwich to a Double-Cheeseburger, both from the dollar menu)

Roy Rogers - Gold Rush Chicken sandwich

Wendy's - Spicy Chicken Club (order spicy chicken sandwich, add bacon) with a mixed frosty

Zaxby's - chips from the side-menu

Even when I was at my heaviest, I never really had fast food from the normal fast food places. McDonalds, Burger King, Carls Jr, especially not Long John Silvers or KFC. Couldn't stand them.

But when I did, I basically just ate stuffed-crust pizza and In N' Out (West Coast).

Pizza: Basically just stuffed-crust, extra pepperoni.

For In N' Out: Everything 'animal style' of course. Which means the burger patties are cooked in mustard, they put on their own thousand island style sauce, and chopped grilled onions. You can watch them peel, slice, and make the fries. Fries 'animal style' are covered in cheese, the sauce, and chopped grilled onions as well. The thing I liked about In N Out is, they don't really have a super-size option (unless you try to put in a special order. Not all of the stores do that though), around here they are the lesser of all fast food evils, and they only have one size in shakes. Small. And the small is an actual small, not a 'medium' small.

In'N'Out serves the best fast food burgers ever, no question. I could eat those all day.

Well as far as I can tell they no longer make it but when they had it it was phenominal.

Hardees/Carls Jrs French Dip Thickburger.

Char broiled angus beef, Roast beef, Swiss and Au Jus /drool!

Cause you know, a french dip sandwich wasnt enough, had to throw in a 1/3rd lb slab of angus beef on that bad boy!

Second place goes to Chik Fil A's AM lineup "Chikin mini" which the chicken is pretty much standard fare but the sweet rolls they are on are beyond words!
