Recently a friend of mine contracted a bad virus on her laptop because she fell for the "You have a virus" popup scam. I nodded sympathetically but I was mentally shaking my head in dispair. Of course, it's entirely reasonable that she fell for it, not having the internet experience that I do, but from my personal perspective it seems inconcivable that anyone falls for that

Also, when I play the piano and people ask me to teach them something 'simple', I'll make a simple melody out of three notes. When they then play it, they press the wrong notes. From a non-subjective standpoint, that's fair enough, as they haven't been learning the piano for 10 years, and they can't 'read' the keyboard. But I personally cannot understand it, as I can read those notes and the idea of getting C and D confused just confounds me

Have you had any experiences where people make mistakes you KNOW you wouldn't make or don't understand things that you do, and yet you know that the reason is only because you're you and they're not?

A badly-worded question, I know, but you understand, right?

My dad constantly confuses Megabits with kilobits and gigabits. He also refers to ripping a CD as downloading it.

Shockingly enough, I had to teach a family friend how to attach a file on an E-mail. If he was an older guy, I'd understand, but he's 21! Kinda sad having to call a 15 year old for help, ya know?

If it was about actions, then i can't help you here mate, Sorry.

BUT, if it was about Point -of Views, then MAN can i tell you guys some stories.

I being in High School, have a Bio Teacher, a Bio Teacher who repeatedly says the same damn, fucking thing. Namely "Believe in God"
Now before you guys call me something related to my Sexual Preference, let me Clarify.
He says them, like a 15th Century Preacher to Asia! I have nothing truly Personal against Religion, I don't really believe in it, but they can practice it in front of me no problem.
But....Man...It seems that he's afraid that we will all do something like write of our souls to Satan or Something.
He's a good guy (i Guess) but that damn Preach which he says to us EVERY-FUCKING DAY can drive anyone to the Wall, i Guarantee.

Because it's what all the cool kids do like me...wait nevermind.

I don't get people who try and be something they aren't, or are otherwise deceptive. If you have an opinion or you don't like something say it, don't just keep it quiet because you don't want to upset someone else, madness. Everything is better when people are 100% upfront. Except maybe Poker, that would get a little bit boring.

I don't get lazy people, or people that complain about doing their job, you're getting paid for something you signed up for, stop your bitching!

I'm also a member of that club, or as I like to refer to it "don't complain, do something about it instead". Can't stand laziness either, I don't even get it. People have to do SOMETHING or they'll explode. I would imagine.

Also, people who can't admit they have a drinking problem. You know the ones "oh I like to have a beer now and again but that's it I don't drink much!" in spite of them being drunk pretty much every night.

A tad bit off topic; but I think it's sad that the only reason those "You're the millionth visitor, club a seal and win an ipod, etc." scams still exist is the fact that people fall for them...

This. Although a friend once told me it's an icebreaker.
He goes out for a smoke and he can ask anyone for a light or a drag or whatever. Granted he is then hitting on someone who will taste like an ashtray, but whatever.

People that complain when the world doesn't hand them everything on a silver platter.

Example:
"I came home last night and my mom didn't have dinner ready so I had to eat a sandwich my life is the worst".

Uh....stfu.
Make something yourself or be grateful for what you have.

They're relaxing.

Why do people talk about things they know nothing about. One guy called Rammstein death metal. I wanted to slap the ***** very hard.

I don't understand how people mispronounce names right after I tell them the name.

*Based on a true story*
Friend asks "Who's he?"
I say "That guy's name is Jim."
They say to the guy "Oh, hello Jason!"

o_O How the hell do you get Jason out of Jim?!

I cannot understand the motives that lazy people have. I mean, like--just shameless. My aunt has four kids, can't hold a job and every eight months or so, she crawls back to my grandmother's house and lives with her for half a year. Her kids destroy the house and are little monsters.

And all because my aunt refuses to hold a job and she is, apparently, completely shameless about being in her mid-30s and living with her mother because she is so pathetically irresponsible.

Not to make this too political but... homophobia. Objectively I can grasp it, but I still can't put myself in a homophobe's shoes and fully understand their perspective. I find it so repulsive and hateful that comprehension is impossible.
