Pretty simple question, what was your favorite series of the show?

For me, if I had a definitive answer I'd have to say Lost Galaxy. You just can't beat a domed city-ship with an army of Starship Troopers fighting an army of bugs with a 2 parter with 11 rangers. The show was Star Trek meets Power Rangers meets Starship Troopers, with the last two being literal.

Though I would be lying if I didn't say I also loved In Space, the one which saved the franchise because of how well written it was, and Lighspeed Rescue, which was in my opinion the logical conclusion of 6 years of monsters (and giant monsters) fighting against giant robots and other alien tech that broke and found its way into the hands of the government.

I mean hell, after the alien invasion in In Space it's only logical for the military to start building rapid response units like them.

RPM. Weren't afraid to make fun of themselves, but also to do a serious show.

I grew up and enjoyed the Original series (minus the Alien Rangers) and Space series (as I was going through a space phase).

I still followed the show (and also enjoyed the Time Force series) up to the Mystic series and then lost interest.

I've narrowed it to a top 3, in order.

1- In Space.
2- Time Force.
3- RPM.

Out of all the ones I've seen, they had the best story, characters and sometimes acting. Also the best theme songs (Except RPM's which sucked)

Usually people only say MMPR so it's nice whenever people say something other than it.

If anyone in here says Operation Overdrive is their favorite I'm going to slap them with a Quasar Sabre

RPM is by far the best of the Disney era, right behind Timeforce. The stuff they did with it was genius.

It's been a very long time since I watched the show, but the three that stick out in my memory are MMPR, In Space and Lost Galaxy. The Psycho Rangers are my favourite antagonists of the whole franchise and I loved the premise and suit designs of Lost Galaxy. MMPR I probably watched the most of and it was the first that I watched, hence I loved it.

Wild Force and Time Force I remember enjoying too, although I wasn't keen on Lightspeed Rescue. Didn't watch anything after Wild Force so I can't judge those.

EDIT: I will admit, Lightspeed Rescue had a kick-ass theme tune.

I generally waver between:

Lost Galaxy
Lightspeed Rescue
SPD

I have a hard time choosing between the three of them. I do want to make special note of Lost Galaxy, though. I hold that as a shining example of HOW to make a Power Rangers adaptation. Not being held captive by the source material, and just telling your own story in your own way.

They took the "interesting" Gingaman (which was a nature-themed show based around horsemanship), and turned it into a badass space opera with strong themes of chivalry, and an awesome bug army to fight.

I grew up with the Mighty morphin' Power Rangers so that has a soecial place in my heart. My favourite was Aisha and Trini/the Yellow Rangers, because all the other girls in my class wanted to be Kimberley, and the yellow ranger was the Sabre tooth tiger, and you don't mess with a sabre tooth tiger. I also loved the morphing scenes as well:

And the theme tune brings a smile to my face whenever I hear it:

Does anyone know when Linkara will get around to doing History of Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive? I can't wait to see him rip it to shreds.

To quote the man himself, "When its Done."

OT: RPM. It managed to keep the humor of Go-Onger, and yet tell a dark and mature story.

Gonna be boring and say the first one Mighty Morphin.

I watched it when I was younger and its the only series I've actually watched.

I do still like Kamen Rider though.

Lord Zed was a fantastic All American villain. I also really liked the unreliable power of the green ranger and his evolution into the white ranger.

Good stuff. Made me into the violent spandex wearing maniac I am today.

We don't have a definitive date yet, but it'll probably be (relatively) soon. Linkara recently confirmed that he's going to take a month off of AT4W, to do a month of HOPR to catch himself up.

I too am looking forward to him reviewing Operation Overdrive. It will be a glorious sight to see him verbally disembowel it.

My favourites have always been Time Force and RPM. It's interesting to note that these two, along with In Space which was another highly-regarded season, were supposed to be the last seasons of their eras before they were saved and renewed.

I eagerly await the day when Linkara releases an installment of HOPR on RPM.

OOh, I dunno. I wanna say Mighty Morphin' 'cause that's what I grew up with. But I watched every season up until like... SPD before it went to cable and I stopped being able to keep track of it..

I do know every single theme song of the show except for RPM because I thought it was lame. Even Jungle Fury.

The last two seasons... well, they don't count 'cause they're just redos anyway.

Yeah, I'll say Mighty Morphin then In Space followed by... Lightspeed Rescue and Time Force.

The ones I enjoy the most are Mighty Morphin, Zeo, In Space, Time Force, and RPM. Mighty Morphin and Zeo hold special places for me. Mighty Morphin started the franchise and Zeo started the suit changes. In Space brought the Zordon era to what I felt was a satisfying end, though I would've preferred they brought in some of the past actors for Countdown to Destruction. And I will always argue that Time Force and RPM aren't just good seasons of Power Rangers, they're just plain good shows. Hell, RPM had the balls to not only kill off 99.9 percent of the human race as well as a couple of characters on-screen, but to straight up mock/explain some of the traditional Power Rangers elements: explosions for no reasons, (NOT!)spandex, ridiculous zord designs. If the franchise had come to an end on that season, I would have been satisfied once more.

Damn, it's been over a year since Mystic Force, I've been itching to watch it. I check the site every day hoping I will get to see his dissection on the worst season.

Am I the only person who actually likes the JF theme song? I thought it was awesome. Nowhere near as good as In Space, Timeforce or Lost Galaxy, but it was still pretty catchy.

Oh no, not at all. You misunderstood me. Or perhaps I worded that the wrong way...

I enjoy Jungle Fury's theme song. Enjoy the hell out of it. I'm pretty sure it's on one my youtube playlists. So damn awesome.

Need I say more?

I liked Time force and wild force as well but I loved this one. :)

If you ask me S.P.D was the last good one.
