As the title says, what's your favorite album?
Also, lets keep compilation albums out.

Here are some of my favorites:

The 59' sound, by The Gaslight anthem
Ten, by Pearl Jam
Nevermind, by Nirvana
Chuck, by Sum 41
New maps of hell, by Bad religion
Americana, by The Offspring
The Black parade, by My Chemical romance
Dark side of the moon, by Pink Floyd

Your turn.

I'd have to go for Sound of Perseverance by Death closely followed by Heartwork by Carcass and Slaughter of the Soul by At the Gates.

All of them are pretty awesome and are the albums that I listen to the most (Unless I leave it to the "Shuffle" setting on itunes in which it seems to prefer Metallica...)

The Black Halo by Kamelot.

So bummed that Khan left the band. :(

Edit: Also, the recent Stratovarius album wasn't bad either.

Still Life, by Opeth although I do like all their records more or less.
Snow Goose and Moonmadness, by Camel. Excellent 70's progressive music.
King For a Day, Fool For a Lifetime, by Faith No More. It's especially great when listening to it in the summer.
Life is Killing Me, by Type O Negative.
Dirt, by Alice in Chains.
Nothing, by Meshuggah.
Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M., by Simon & Garfunkel.
Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic, by Death. I don't like much of their other albums, although there are exceptions on a song-to-song basis.
Addicted, by Devin Townsend Project as well as Ziltoid the Omniscient, by Devin Townsend.
The New Black and Alien, by Strapping Young Lad.
Love Remains the Same, by Von Hertzen Brothers. It's a Finnish group, most of you probably have never heard of it. *Puts on hipster glasses*

Either:
The Sufferer and the Witness - Rise Against

Start Something - Lostprophets
or
Toxicity - System of a Down

Leaning towards the middle one, but in truth I've never been good at being decisive...

Well, you picked a bunch of albums so I will too:

Ni-Hao! - Gorgeous
Ground Zero - Consume Red
Datach'i - The Elements
Autechre - Confield
Brian Eno - On Land (Ambient 4)
Boredoms - Pop Tatari
Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album
Squarepusher - Hard Normal Daddy
Ryoji Ikeda - Test Pattern
Khanate - Things Viral
Ali Project - Etoiles
Gutevolk - Suomi
Radiohead - Kid A

In no particular order, although Gorgeous is the closest thing to a perfect album I've ever heard.

EDIT: Also, this is artist - album. I realize that most of the thread is typing album - artist, but I can't be bothered to change it now.

Paramore - Brand New Eyes. It's the only album I've listened to where I've liked every song on it.
Oh, and Tenacious D's first album, I think it is self-titled Tenacious D, that album is awesome too.

I love you.

'Deconstruction' sounds like it's going to be his best work yet... I cannot wait:

Oh indeed, by what I've heard it's going to be more in the vein of SYL. I actually saw Devin Townsend Project live a while ago. With Anneke there and everything, it was amazing.
