Favorite Anime/Manga

What is your favorite manga? Anime?

My favorite manga is Elfen Lied. Hell no for the anime, shorter, worse ending, etc...

My favorite animes are Clannad/Clannad AS and Haruhi Suzumiya.

Also Bleach...but yeah this new arc just doesn't work yet.

Favorite manga... Probably Uzumaki. I read it, I finished it, and I loved everything about it save for the fact that the protagonists were total morons. Really though, not something to read if you have a weak stomach.

Favorite anime... Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, probably. Also not something to look at if you have a weak stomach.

Great storyline. Great animation for it's time. SHORT which is great since it really has them focusing on a strong storyline.

Anime: Three way tie among Clannad/AS, Cowboy Bebop, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Honourable mention: The Melancholy/Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, 5 Centimeters per Second.

I thought the anime was done well, except for the ending. I'm sure they intended to go through the entire story, but they stopped it halfway through.

I wonder why, but the anime is still open for another season, should anyone pick it up.

favourite manga is kuroshitsuji, the mixture of gags and horror works great for me. Anime...would have to be naruto. When it comes to anime, I find myself angry a lot because of several reasons:
- they never last long enough
- Too many fillers
Naruto has a lot of fillers but at least there is a very good chance it'll keep on running

Nah, if the wiki is correct, it was started before the manga was completed and it separated from the manga canon at episode 13. It wasn't intended to be continued.
