Favorite Beatles Song

Come on now, we all have one. Favorite Beatles songs. I'm interested to see how many non-Beatles-fans post to this (a.k.a. people that pick Yellow Submarine). And don't forget to include why!

Mine is Maxwell's Silver Hammer. Maybe I'm just a freak, but it's just delightfully macabre and the fact that it's by such a popular band as the Beatles makes it that much more sickeningly fun for me to listen to.

Yellow Submarine, because I can't remember any of them apart from Sargent Pepper. I'm not even sure if there was an album called Sargent Pepper now, defiantly a song called that though.

Well, to be honest, I quite enjoy the Yellow Submarine. Has a nice tune to it and I think another band I liked use the same tune and similiar lyrics to take the piss out of the song, which is always a plus in my book.

Otherwise I really don't much care for them.

He shares my opinion. I don't mind "Help me" but other then that, I don't care for them.

Oh yeah, Abbey Road is definitely the Beatles at their best. I especially love how, under iTunes, it is now filed under the genre of "Oldies". Vintage.

I don't see how you could pick only one. The Beatles are arguably the most successful band of all time for a reason. If I HAD to pick one, I would go with I Am the Walrus. Or Here Comes the Sun. Or Let it Be. Or the entire Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Album. Or Penny Lane. I could go on but I fear that I'm becoming redundant.

I don't listen to the Beatles much, but Hey Jude is one of my favorites.

Not a huge fan of the Beatles, but I love the movie Across The Universe and think everyone did an awesome job on the songs. Hey Jude is definitely my favoite song.
