I never understood this. To me they all taste exactly the same, so generally I just buy the cheapest.
I've drank so much of the stuff I can taste the difference in brands and that i've grown an immunity to caffine and taurine lol.

i like coffee, never cared for the overly sweet energy drinks, but my favourite (aka the only one i like) is a Turkish(?) one that they sell in my local kiosk, its blue...ish and taste kinda like soysauce, pepper and blueberries, its not for everyone and i have only seen it in that kiosk, but i fucking love it and you just need one sip to stay awake for 2 days .

We got local energy drinks called "Slammers" they are pretty darn cheap and delicous.
I rather not go buy Red Bull or Monster Energy while I can get things that taste better for less then 1/3rd of the price.

Crank, though I haven't seen one of those in a really long time. I have managed to get my 3 sixteen once energy drink a day habit down to a two can of Mt. Dew.
Edit: I also love Brawndo just for their commercials which are hilarious but I've never seen the stuff IRL.

Its technically not a energy drink but it sure gives you a boost in the morning after a night out drinking. Iru Brew, i feel sorry for the rest of the world, its basically only available in Scotland (there are a lucky few contires who sell it but not on mass).
Amp. It's the only one that doesn't make me puke in my mouth. Plus some of them are actually quite tasty.

I make a home made mix
1 Sprite
1 Cup of Orange Juice
5 Lemons
1 Cup of Grapefruit Juice
Mix the liquids and fully squeeze 4 lemons in. Take the Last lemon and juice the rim of the glass untill no more juice comes from the lemon. The JOLT alone will shake you awake. I made this out of a stupid dare, I call it a Fruit Cyclone

I will probably go for whatever store brand energy drink I can get, as opposed to "red bull", "monster" or "rockstar" as I find them too expensive. I am more likely to go for coffee or tea. However, I must admit, when I found "Mountain dew energy" at a cafeteria I frequent I was so happy
