And anyone hear of Fight Night? saw the trailer and the girl playing the underground fighter looks like she rocks it. Can't wait to see it.

... This is just a list of films that contain women fighting. That does not make them "female fight movies" (also, couldn't you have gone for some alliteration, by the way? "favourite female fighting films" sounds better).

Kate Beckinsale doesn't fight in Underworld. If she did, I'd remember it.

Also, Ellie Driver vs Beatrix Kiddo owns all.

"Chocolate" starring Jeeja Yanin. It's by the director of Ong Bak and Ms. Yanin spent two years training and another two filming and it shows, she could really kick Uma's ass and she's only 5'3". Plus it's a Thai film so at least half the stunt crew ended up in an intensive care unit.

ok, so MY BAD if my "subject" line wasn't up to par. I should have been more descriptive like "favorite films with females fighting with their hands, feet, weapons, or supernatural powers". Yes this includes Kate Beckinsale in Underworld, and the girls in Deathtrap using a car and in the end their feet to smash Kurt Russell's skull in. Basically girls that like to kick a$$.....you feelin me on this?...

Oh, I forgot to mention how cool Lucia Riker is (the bada$$ chick Swank fights in Million Dollar Baby).

I've yet to see Chocolate but hear alot of good things about it. I really like the Ong Bak movies, so I'll need to check it out. The trailer looks like Yanin get's pretty banged up.

I was able to check out Fight Night this weekend on DVD, and it was actually pretty good. Rebecca Neuenswander plays the main character and she's a talented young actress that may have a nice future in the biz.

I don't really watch many movies, so my knowledge of this is quite limited. I guess the Matrix series had some very well coreographed fight scenes, so I might go with that one.
