this is not only FPS, its all kinds of games, just as long as its in a first-person view.

my personal favorite is CoD4 because both the singleplayer and multiplayer parts are really awesome.

Edit: A close second place goes to TF2.

that game defined immersion for me. i was this character. if i backflipped to kick a super soldier in the chin, the camera backflipped. it was almost nausiating to play like this at times, but it was the coolest i had played that was entirely first person.

the call of duty series are good, and bioshock was amazing, and of course fallout 3, there all up there too
