i want to get a new game, not sure what i want.
so what are some peoples favorite games nd why, like what makes them awsome

my favorite game at the moment is probs mirrors edge cos theres nothing like it, its combined parkour with fighting and its got do-able achievments instead of those annoying impossible ones

Well I haven't got a lot to say becuase the games I have been playing a lot lately are;
Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and Left 4 dead.
halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 are on my 360, Left 4 Dead is on my PC.
Only been playing them online as it's great fun.

You need Killzone 2 Killzone 2's multiplayer>COD 4's multiplayer. Nothing will ever beat Halo 3's though, Forge is just too awesome.

Haha this thread is either going to fail miserably or spin WAY out of control.

Fallout 3 is a life absorbing game, but if you like parkour and haven't already tried it you should play assassin's creed.

What systems do you have?

I think you should get Fallout 3/Bioshock.

mad world looks alright but it looks like its going to get boring and repetitive like most games..i want a genuinly good game if anyone knows of one.......

My favourite game? At the moment that would be Empires Total War. I liked Mirror's Edge too, but it was finished in 6 hours... I'm pretty sure that I can play Empires Total War for more then 100 hours, and not even be slightly bored with it. The replay value of this game is huge, and you can play it in several way e.g. with the focus on war or trade or diplomacy. You have to like strategy games though, and a bit of patience to master the game.

i havent bought a single game since 2007 because i was having money issues

i guess bioshock looks alright

Fallout 3.... No contest. Mass Effect if you're more for space combat and all that and maybe Resident Evil 5, but I honestly haven't played it, so I'm not sure it lives up to RE4...

My Final Suggestion: Lost Planet (It's an Awesome/underrated game)

I'm currently still playing Saint's Row 2, after 70+ hours not counting multiplayer...insane fun and almost too many things you can do just for the heck of it.

Then again, I returned Mirror's Edge to Gamestop in disgust after the 5½ hours it took to beat it, so we may not have similar tastes...

abes oddysee (PC PS1) and abes exoddus (PC Ps1):

they have managed to withstand the test of time i was rather happy that my inner child which loved this game back then still loves it now although the graphics has taken a nasty hit but still love playing it

shadow of the colossus(ps2):

now this games just beautiful and a real thinker it brought a tear to my eye everytime i brought down one of those colossi

worms armageddon (pc):

now everyone must of played this game get some friends round and enjoy it more holy hand grenades need i say more

micro machines V3 (ps1) :

if you have enough controllers this is the best party game in the land

timespliiters 2 (Ps2):

one of thee best FPS around if you cant find 2 get future perfect it is just as fun even though they got rid of the minigames

littlebigplanet (ps3):

i have to say 360 fan or ps3 fan play this game its brilliant seariously me and my friend spent a good few hours just making random things plus some of the community made levels are just as good as the devs if not better it really is a sight to behold

killzone 2 (ps3):

best looking FPS game out there and the multiplayer is fantastic

bioshock (pc):

this game was an utter thrill ride from start to finish could put the controller down although the pc version is the best.

gears of war 2 (360):

i dont have a 360 but i do like this game one of the few 360 games i do enjoy not buy a console for worthy though but make online free and i sure wouldnt have an excuse
