Oh... I was thinking you meant online mini-series, not actual television mini-series.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I LOVE TeamFourStar's DBZ parody. But TOEI and Funimation keep claiming copyright even when they put disclaimers up front... /sigh

Here's somebody's video, not TFS's

Bit low content on your opening post there, squire.

Anyway, my favourite is most likely Dead Set, Charlie Brooker's cross between a zombie film and Big Brother. Incredibly violent and gory, and incredibly satiric, it's the best zombie related thing that I've seen in years.

Ah yes, been meaning to watch that for ages.

As for me... mini series... erm, I don't really know of that many. I haven't seen band of brothers (tbh I'm not big on war flicks) and many others so my selection's pretty limited.

The Pacific is really good. Sucks that it's already over.
I didn't like it,I was hoping it would stand up to band of brothers, but I can't tell what it was missing for me.

My favorite miniseries is Generation Kill, a seven-episode HBO miniseries that follows a marine squad through the first three weeks of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. It is one of the most powerful things I have ever seen, and it offers an insight into the war that's not like anything I've come across before. It's based on a memoir written by an embedded reporter, and is more or less a true story (one actor plays himself). It's by the same people that made The Wire.

That Sci Fi channel (Syfy can go to hell) early 2000's rendition of Dune. Finally made up for that David Lynch crap.
