Favorite Mythology based VG monsters?

Medusa, she's one pretty cool Gorgon, especially when she appears in Castlevania Portrait of Ruin that was an incredible boss fight.

I thought the machines in Too Human were ok, lousy gameplay, but the enemies were challenging because of it which is a bonus I guess. The whole game was nothing but mythology and repetitiveness.

Anyway; Age of Mythology was an epic game, if anyone remembers it/picked it up.

I love how WoW does dragons, too. To the extent of the first time I tanked Onyxia almost shit myself. The same goes for their Threshers/underwater Loch Ness Monster things.

Yes. I don't care about the story in this game (a first) I want to fight Griffons and Golems and Werewolves. I am tired of shooting generic soldiers with one catch phrase in the face.

Whenever Leviathan is accurately portrayed, it's pretty awesome. Surprised you don't fight it in either Valkyrie Profile, actually.

I liked Titan Quest because I'm a big fan of Classical mythology in roleplaying games, to the extent that I'm running a D&D campaign based on some of it. Super nerdy. And frankly, I can't imagine the game that can't be improved by adding Golems.

My favourite is Amon from the Shadow Hearts: Covenant.

I love all the Christian Demonology that's featured in that game, like the demons & back stories in The Key of Solomon & how Rasputin is in a soul pact with Asmodeus... awesome.

I'm digging the neo-mythological creatures in Too Human. The world eating snake is a giant Spaceship, etc. So awesome.

I'll admit being goth for vampires. If anyone made a deep, detailed video game version of the original Dracula I would play it until I died.

I also loved playing through Persona 3 and seeing how they portrayed all those differing bits of mythology.

Or clockwork soilders of somesort.
Mean, techincally the same as golems in the
sense of being Construct creatures.

Just Golems tend to be more of an elemental formed creature
rather than man made in most games.

Also not interwebs for a week is hard to survive lol .
