favorite non-popular character

Every game has a few non-popular characters as viewed by fans. What are your favorite characters that are seemingly not popular by fans?

For me I would say Kaidan and Ashley from Mass Effect. I understand why the don't like them but in my eyes they weren't as bad as fans think they are. Neither came off as whiney or racist

I still don't like Kaiden or Ashley much, even after they were toned down in ME3. I'd have to say my vote goes the Alistar from DAO. I thought most of his "whining" was warranted considering what had happened/was happening and helped paint the picture of someone who copes with pain by making jokes.
