Favorite PSone era game.

What is your favorite PSone era game the one guy when think back to thosse times you see that game,It just seems there where so many great personalities in our gaming Protagonist than there our today so i want people to just list off there favorite games from that era of gaming.Me personally it had to be Spryo that game made me a gamer

PS1 Era - Ocarina of Time

I am aware that the distinction between psx and ps1 is arbitrary as hell, but those two are the biggest ones to come to mind.

Tomba. Brilliant game, wonderfully creative and so colorful. Shame it wasn't backwards compatible with the PS2. I also really loved Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon. Had loads of fun with that game. Oh, and Resident Evil 2, of course. It's still my favorite out of the series (though Veronica is a reallllly close second.)

Wish we had a lot of JRPGS that never saw the light of day here in Europe.
I'm gonna have to say either Metal Gear Solid (just for that incredibly atmospheric movie style opening alone, you knew you were in for an adventure) or any of the first three Spyro games, although I never got around to getting the latter at the time...only ever played the demos.

I really loved that era for console gaming, the next generation (Game Cube, PS2 etc) really sucked imo (was all PC during that bleak period).

Most favorite is probably one of the Spyro or Crash Bandicoot games. Can't decide which one...

I also loved Legend of Dragoon. It got me into JRPG's in the first place and possibly was the reason I eventually picked up Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2.

Ahh... I played that on an old demo disc many years after the PS1 era and loved it. Then found out it was rare... but guess what was at my video store!? That's right, Tombi! (Australian...) Ahhh... fun times...
OT: The only games at that era which I still play regularly are Paper Marion, Castlevania: SoTN and occasionally Goldenyey with friends! (have you tried turbo mode, throwing knives only while crouching and strafing in DK mode? Hilarious!)
