Favorite Shin Megami Tensei

I just read through the fav final fantasty thread, and I thought it'd be fun to bring up the underdog of the RPG world. Well, I see it as the underdog since I didn't hear about any of them until 2002.

Any SMT are applicable.

and I'm hesitantly looking forward to Strange Journey, only because first person dungeon crawl on DS doesn't sound like fun but who knows.

Lucifer's Call, mainly cause I didn't really enjoy any of them.

Persona 3 FES gets it first for being my first SMT game though it is a spin-off but what ever.The story was slower but I really got to know the characters.

P4 comes in second, it does improve on P3FES but FES just has a special place in my heart. It does move at a faster pace with the murder plot but it bugged me that the game just took control for a week or two at a time when all I wanted to do was Social links.

DDS1/2 are third/fourth/fifth a great story though the characters always felt a tad on the weak side to me.

Devil Survivor is third/fourth/fifth It had a great atmosphere and is what Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon should have been.

Digital Devil Saga Followed by Persona 3.

Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2, followed by Nocturne and Devil Summoner. Persona 3 and 4 were good as well. I also enjoyed the Persona 1 remake. Personally, I think Strange Journey looks great.

Persona 4 is a front runner followed by Devil Summoner and then, Persona 3. I haven't played many of his games to tell you the truth, but the ones I have played I have found to be quite fun.

I have only played Persona 4 so that is my favourite by default. I adore the game though and want to pick up Persona 3 as soon as I can find it.
