Favorite SNL cast member/moment

If you don't know what SNL(Saturday Night Live) is, it is a "weekly late-night 90-minute American sketch comedy/variety show" that is positivly hilarious. It has been on the air since 1975 and has had cast members like Chris Farley, David Spade, Eddie Murphy, and many, many others.

I am also asking for your favorite moment/skit(exp. More Cowbell,Sarah Palin "gansta rappin'")

note:I did do a forum search before this and I was suprised that no one had "attempted" this thread before. I will try to get some links of specific moments that are more popular, but until that it would be greatly appreciated if some could try to get links to there favorite moments. Thanks!

You know who is really under-appreciated? Darrell Hammond. He's been on the show since like '95. He's played a crapload of characters including everyone's favorite Sean Connery, and more recently John McCain in the election sketches. And yet, somehow, almost noone knows who he is. It's disappointing.

Anyways, that's my favorite cast member, but my favorite sketch is Will Ferrell as Harry Caray in the astronomy show thing.

snl jeopardy was one of my fav of the later ones

tho my personal fav was when vanilla ice was on the show, he did his ice ice baby song and got booed, right after Dennis Miller was doing the news, he played Under Pressure by Queen & Bowie

Dennis Miller goes "you know the funny part about that song is Bowie wrote it 10 years ago and i bet you it could be a hit even today", the crowd cheered, Dennis goes "oh i got something in my eye, let me get it out for a second", the crowd cheered even more

Definitely "Samurai Delicatessen." In my top five without a doubt. John Belushi and Buck Henry, I believe.

Also on that list is the "Schweaty Balls" skit with Alec Baldwin, the one where they're in outer space and use cats as guns, and that short sketch where they chomp on lettuce.

Agreed, in fact, all the Digital Shorts, and pretty much everything with Andy Samberg in it is hilarious.
Oh, and Death By Chocolate is good, but there are no good uploads on Youtube
