Alright this is a little question i've been meaning to ask on a gaming forum so hear it goes...

What is your favorite Star Trek game. Now this could be a core game or a modded version. I myself am partial to Bridge Commander. (Thanks to bcfiles.com for that), what about you guys? Elite Force? Starfleet Command?

Hmmm...it's been a long time since I've played a Star Trek game...

...but sitting in Kirk's chair blasting Klingons was super-sweet!

Star Trek Legacy for the Xbox 360. I just have so much fun commanding and controlling at the same time four gigantic star fleet ships into battle with really cool upgrades. It's like a flying thrid person shooter and a RTS in one, also it includes all the factions, names and voices just like in the Star Trek Next Generation Universe.

IIRC there was some RTS game. I remember playing it years ago at a friend's house.

It's also the only Star Trek game I've ever played.(well, the SNES games, but I hope that if I ignore them long enough they stop existing)

I guess I'm the only person here who played Star Trek Voyage: Elite Force [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elite_Force]?

It's a game I paid for which was done in a modified Quake 3 engine, and it was pretty cool. It had very fun multiplayer, much like just playing Quake 3 with different weapons, items, and maps.

That said, I also liked Star Trek Armada.

The only one I played was Birth of the Federation; effectively a Star Trek version of Colonization, except with a kinda cool semi-interactive battle system. It was actually really, really fun. I never really explored the ST gaming franchise that much. Will have to check out some of t'others.

Star Trek: The Next Generation - A Final Unity. It was a PC RPG-like thing that only ran on DOS, and the sound usually didn't work.

But any game that lets you violate the Romulan Neutral Zone whenever you're bored is worth all the trouble in the world.

"How many neutral zones do we have, anyway? Man, stellar cartographic course plotting was so much easier before the Organians got involved."

Ha ha, I'm a funny nerd.

I loved Elite Force.

I also liked the Genesis game, Star Trek: The Next Generation - Echoes from the Past.

Hell no you're not the only one that played that game - it was awesome. I never did play the sequel, though.

Yeah, I never played STV:EF 2 either.

Never heard much about it, never saw it in stores...But I actually do know one other person IRL who played STV:EF and we had some good fun online with it.

I've always wanted to play EF2...never could find it though either. Hoping my friend will lend it to me. If it works on my system that is.
