I think there has been a misunderstanding I don't OWN a PS3 okay? I sometiems go over to a friend's house where he has a PS3 and SOMETIMES Furhter more... what the fuck man. The post asked me what my favourite game vehicles were, I responded. So what if they were all vehicles from Xbox games. If I want to like them that's my right leave me alone.
Further more I would like to point out though I only own a 360 it does not make me a fanboy, I just picked the console I wanted. Why does that offend you so very much? That I am playing with the console and indeed the game that I like? Before I go much further let me point out, did I EVER, at any point say the PS3 is shit? No I did not, I just said I haven't played enough of IT!

You really are the fanboy 'oh but I own both consoles', no excuse. You can't use that as a magical shield against logic, you are completely bashing one console and praising the other based on personal prefereance announcing that one is better than the other. THat is the definition of fanboyism, yet you go online and accue me of fanboyism because I play with the console I bought and don't discriminate people's choices ,Wii, PS3, 360, PC it's all the same to me.
Also why the hell did you mention the Xbox Live arcade? I wasn't even TALKING about the Arcade or even anything about my console whatsoever so why even bring that up? That's not an argument, that's just typing random statements that have no relevance to what I was talking about.

If you like the PS3 that's fine, but do not think that gives you some kind of 'authority' over other people. I NEVER attacked your console and I NEVER let myself get pulled into 'which is best' arguments because it is bloody stupid. But you seem to activley seek it out.
Why does me liking my console offend you so greatly?
PS3 fanboy means pretty much all that.

The Ghost in Halo 1,2,3
Also the Banshee
And the Wraith
And the Spectre

But not anything those dirty, dirty brutes made.

Also the Brumak in Gears 2
360 fanboy much?
You know what just because I like the vehicles in say Halo or Gears doesn't make me a fanboy. I just haven't played enough Playstation games that even HAVE vehicle sections to make a mention.
Wow, major argument there!

Oh wait, no, Playstation does a vehicle section? No they don't second of all, do you even HAVE a PS3? There are too many on the PS3. And your a real sucker to "future vehicles" not one of them can be connected to human (also Brumak doesn't count, thats pretty much horse riding with a stupidly big gun on a stupidly big demon-locust, then again, what do i know? i play GOOD games.
PS3 fanboy much?
Got both consoles, PS3 wins in just about every sense of the word (woopty doo, the marketplace is better layed out then PSN store, i just find what im looking for then download, wait, or i can just buy a real game instead of spending imaginary points for simply playing a game, which might i add are much more fun any 360 game I own (yes, all the "great ones" Halo 3, GoW 1-2 etc.)

Back your argument up from that, without any make belief arguments, or sit in that corner and weep.

Ok, both of you can spend 5 minutes in the corner while the adults talk. Vrex, I know you're just defending yourself, but your best bet when faced by a situation like this is to let it die. Spirultima, Vrex has an opinion and has a right to his opinion. You think the PS3 has better vehicles...that's fine. State your opinion, don't belittle someone else's.

As for myself, I love the Leviathan from Unreal Tournament 2004. That thing is massive, and is basically a moving battle fortress...that has a super death laser built in.

I quite liked the DPV's in Battlefield 2, they handled well, had a big dirty .50 on it, and went like stink, whats not to like?

My favorite vehicle is probably the Reins of the Red Drake from World of Warcraft.

But you do so with a bad controller. Seriously, the controller alone makes me resent my PS3 and ensures I always opt for the 360 version of a multi system title. I hate it so much

That said, out of the games on the PS3 that are not available on the 360, there really aren't all that many vehicles that spring to mind (discounting of course GT: Prologue).

And the counter argument of "I play good games" doesn't further the discussion of favorite vehicle, nor does it actually counter any point made by the person you quote.

Name me a single game where a vehicle sect. has made an entire game (not including vehicle-only games)

Also there are too many vehicles on games now or days, they usually ruin a whole game, when you HAVE to use them, a good game, brings then in when its directly fitting, and doesn't make it a impossible task to use.

Controller? yeah, ok, I'll give you that, oh wait, no I won't, have you tried to break a PS3 controller? like the PS3 its like a nano-fortress and who cares to be honest? Wow, you have a trigger! makes a whole controller that does, hmmm, wait a minute (D-pad, 4 buttons, 2 triggers, 2 shoulder buttons, start and select button, 2 analogue sticks, and a logo button) yup, hugely different.

The standard helicopter in Battlefield 2. It handles perfectly and has the firepower to take out anything!

To your first question, my answer is likely going to involve one of the Battlefield (or similar) games where vehicles are but one option available to the player. In most games, vehicle sections are tacked on, and as a result feel out of place and frustrating. Most of the time, my feeling on them is if they aren't going to be any good, why bother in the first place.

But, this doesn't detract from my original point that your counter argument was nothing more than throwing some fetid meat to a troll, and here we continue the trend. Someone has offered [sarcasm]thoughtful[/sarcasm] criticism of a point and you respond with more illogical and indefensible points.

My point about the PS3 controller was meant to simply be a joke, but I'll grant that it might not be entirely clear (and it almost certainly isn't funny). The counter argument I've been given is (and I'm summarizing here): "It's durable". Durability might factor into the question had I EVER broken a controller on any other console (which I haven't), and as such it doesn't factor into my decision. Instead, I was referring to the simple fact that the controller is uncomfortable in my hands (it actually causes my hands to hurt after fairly short play periods) and that I am unable to achieve the same level of precision using said controller. I can already predict the counter argument to my second point - that the PS3 controller has better technical precision than the 360, but I find this point irrelevent as it matters not how capable the device is in theory, in practice I consistantly struggle with the interface.

More to the point, my bit about the controller had nothing to do with what one controller has over the other, as the only notable difference is motion sensing and that has yet to be effectively leveraged by any game I've played thus far. At the end of the day, they have the same number of analog sticks, the same d-pad, the same number of shoulder buttons and the same number of face buttons. The difference is the design of the 360 controller (from layout to analog stick sensitivity) gives me a better experience that offers more comfort and better usable precision in the games that I choose to play. The difference is so great that I find that any game that launches for both consoles is inevitably considered a 360 release for me because the controller quite simply reduces my enjoyment of the game. Given the entire purpose of a console is to bring me joy and entertainment, any feature that actively impedes this process seems like a pretty big problem, [baseless ad-hom inflamatory remark]but then again I'm not a fanboy so I guess my logic might not meet yours[/baseless ad-hom inflamatory remark].

All that said, there was a point at which I adored the PS controller (back when it's competition was my N64 controller), but times have changed, my hands have grown and now I herald a new king of comfort and function. I'm also well aware that many people prefer the feel of the PS3 controller - I wish I were among them. I'd even take being among the crowd of people who don't suffer from pain when using the damn thing so I'd be willing to use my Onyx tower a bit more.
