He started his career as a body builder. In his first movie his voice was dubbed. He can't act. He sounds like a constipated orc. He's now governor of Calfornia. How the hell did this guy star in so many brilliant movies?
So, what it is your favourite Arnold Schwarzenegger movie? Personally for me I'd like to say Terminator 1 & 2, but while those movies are brilliant as far as Arnold brilliance goes they're not there. It was a genius idea putting him in a role where he doesn't act, because he can't. But without his terrible acting you don't get the same great/terrible moments from him you do from his other movies.
So with that in mind I have to say Total Recall. It's stupid, over the top and macho as hell, just like Arnold himself. We get to see some great one liners and terrible acting (my favourite being him laughing in his forced way after having survived being shot at by 20 guys) plus it's a great movie for voicing what you think his mind is going though ("Go on Arny! Do it for California!") Also it has a 3 breasted hooker, what more can you ask for?
