Which of the call of duty series has your favourite SP campaign?

I've played WaW, CoD 4 MW, MW2 and black ops and I'd say that Cod 4 has my favourite SP campaign, also IMO CoD 4 is the best CoD excluding the first 3 which I haven't played so I can't comment.

Probably the first one. There was just something amazing about playing through that game when the series was new and the feeling was unmatched. I loved it back then.

I like Black Ops the most. I think the game's plot was actually much more interesting then the others. It took some strange turns, and I thought it was a good change of pace.

Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2's Russian campaigns were pure awesome for me

I enjoyed the Russian campaign of World at War the most. I really enjoyed how reflective the campaign was if you stopped to think about what you were doing.

My favorite overall mission was the opening mission for the Russian campaign of Call of Duty 1.

MW2 definitely has an underrated campaign. Most players miss any of the quiet intelligence for the deafening explosions. Stuff like nationalism, authoritarianism, the disaster that is American interventionism, and torture are completely missed. Even the title is ironic.

Agreed, sorta. While it's not the greatest narrative in the world I'm pretty sick of dudes bashing it because the plot doesn't make sense. It does, but it is obviously pretty over the top and out there. I really liked how a lot of things that happened in CoD 4 sort of tie into it, but unfortunately these things are never really explained. Like the 'Opfor' enemies at the start of the campaign are most likely the remnants of the enemy faction in CoD 4, and a lot of the whole new Russian revolution thing in between 4-MW2 is never really explained.

I can't decide between Call of Duty 1 or 2. They were both incredible, especially for their time.

my favorite ones were CoD2 (which is my favorite game in the franchaise) and WaW overall Those were the best two I thought by far. Althought MW1 had its fair share of awesome moments.

Black Ops was actually thought out, in terms of the story. Very well put together and made me play it in one sitting.

Call of Duty 2. I cannot describe in words how fantastic that game was.

Black Ops, I liked the story the best.

Modern Warfare 1 + 2 was pretty cool
Black Ops was trippy and interesting
World at War was fun for WW2
Can't pick a favorite.

Call of Duty 4. Hands down. Though Im pretty sure CoD 2 is up there, just havent played through the whole thing...

My favourite was the Stalingrad sequence in COD 2.
