Well I've just finished Ghost Trick Phantom Detective, which surprised me with how good it was,and possibly have a favourite game character - a dog named Missile. As a man in his early twenties I'm not normally one for cute characters but this dog has to be the most adorable heart warming character, in what is in game full of excellent characters just a very slight dark edge. Must be the most heart warming character in gaming, no contest (probably not cutest.) What your favourite, lesser known character.

I liked my protagonist from SMT: Devil Survivor. My first playthrough ended with him being a living demi-god who had managed to single-handedly send a cosmic monstrosity and every demon on Earth back to hell for eternity.

A close second would be Dem from Breath of Death VII.

Well here are my favorites:
Chuck Greene and Frank West from the Dead Rising games. Those aren't Triple A Games are they?
Also Xiahou Dun from Dynasty Warriors Series.

Inspector Cabanela was the coolest character in Ghost Trick. He's just so smooth.

One of my favourites is sir Garland from The Dark Spire. He's the training instructor in town, and he doesn't seem to have all of his lights on. Probably because he tends to die at the end of the training sessions, so he's gotten quite a few blows to his head.

Here's a bit of the dialogue with him:
"You pass!" What exactly has been passed is unclear. Before any questions can be asked, the man presents them with a sword.

"Here, take this! It's a free gift to new Guild members. Use it well. Oh, and take this. And this, and this..." He hands more weapons and armor to you. "That's more like it. You pass!" Exactly what has been passed is still unknown.

>Ask about what has been passed

He shrugs in disbelief. "Pass? You haven't even completed your training yet and you think you've passed? What nonsense!" Although this did not quite answer your question, the group nods, reluctant to argue with the instructor.

"Now that we have an understanding, let's get started. You pass!" Saying that phrase seems to be a habit of his.
