Now i know how wierd this thread sounds but bare with me.

i used to LOVE playing guitar hero. id get in and id play it alot (as sad as that sounds) but i mean i have this problem where if i start something completeing it isnt enough i have to own it till its merely dust.

that aside i was close to owning guitar hero 2 when my brother came in and was like i want the xbox quickly to check if its my power pack thats broken (he had 3 reds).

i explained that he should bring his power pack down to mine but no he then went and put his grubby hands on my console and picked it up. While it was ON!.

seconds later all i heard was *grrr gzzzztt rmmmmm* i opened the disc tray and there was my GH chewed like a small peice of gum... needles to say i chase him round the garden with a knife until he said he'd pay for it.

So back to the qustion have you ever had a game destroyed by someone other than yourself =]

Nope! I'm the youngest, and the only one really interested in gaming. So everyone never bothered with my games. And now that I'm out on my won and married, my wife only plays games if I am. So everything is in great condition!

Now, when I have kids...that might change. But that won't be for a while.

Yeah man i hear yah i used to love playing the forbidden siren series that was until my ass of a brother desieded that since i had to feed the birds that he wanted to play the playstation just as i was starting a new file and was about to save it in a new spot on my memory card. So what does he do he saves over my other file in which i had 100% completed and those wasted 1 year of my life on trying to finsh that damn game. And he wonders why i hate him so.

Other than the occasional inncident with a disc being left on a desk rather than being returned to the case or one instance of someone tripping over a power cable I've never had any serious problem with family based videogame assassination.

About...5 years ago, I think, I was extremely fond of Simcity 3000. I borrowed it to a friend, he came by to drop it off. So I just lay it down on the coffee table, in the living and chatted a bit with him in the hallway before waving goodbye. Now maybe 5-10 minutes were between him dropping off the game and him saying goodbye, but when I returned to the living room my stupid little sister was dancing on the frakking cd. And yes, in case you're wondering: the cd was in the box. So she first had to open the box with her stupid little toddler hands, then had to pry the disc loose with the same grubby little hands and then had to throw it on the floor to dance on it. I was furious with rage, and my mum just casually ignored it and said something like "O that's just how she is." While I just lost my favorite game, I didn't get any money to buy a new copy (if I could even find one), my sister never got disciplined, and I lost my favorite game.

2 Years ago my copy of Super Smash Bros Melee snapped in half, again because of my damned sister, indirectly this time. It was the birthday of my father, and my nephews came around. They're usually decent kids, 1 was also just a toddler at the time, and they really enjoy things like SSBM and Mario Party. Because the GC was on the attic, and my sister was on the computer next to it, I asked her to look out for our little nephews that they didn't screw around with the GC and just play with it, and ask my sister to switch discs (I especially said that, obviously, to her and the oldest nephew). Yea yea that was all fine she said, she would check up on them. But ofcourse, when I entered the attic, I saw the little nephew wanted to grab the SSBM disc out of the GC, while my sister saw that and casually chosen to ignore it. I want in a classic movie "NOOOOO" while hurrying towards them in slo-mo, but before I could do anything...*snap* and SSBM was destroyed, one of my fav games ever. Gah how was I pissed. Again my parents new she was 'in charge' of them, but again did nothing.

Moral of both stories: little sisters are hellspawn, and so are parents who choose to ignore that.

My little brother broke all my Ps2 games in half... I'm still not sure how he managed to get them down from the top shelf.

My brother and friends have this annoying habit of knocking over the 360 whenever I am right in the middle of playing brand new games.
You'd think placing the Xbox on the top shelf would keep it safe, but nooo...
