"Well its just a few short weeks to halloween and I was just thinking about the whole costume fisaco and how some of them are plain and boring, whilst others are awesome and really unique".

Now here comes the question for this thread.

What is the most amazing and unique halloween costume you have ever seen, something that really impressed you.

Note: If the costume happed to be yours then please say.

Mine would be the, one that my friend wore two years ago an almost perfect alien costume (from the movie Alien.) It was made from latex and had an retractable tongue as well. The only problem was that he had to take it off every twenty minutes to get a bit of air.

I have no clue, really no clue.
Maybe that's because I payed more attention to the bag of sweets than to the people roaming around.

I always enjoy seeing a Scream outfit though.

I do enjoy how Halloween has basically become an excuse for women to, uh, display their wares :p

At any rate, the neatest costume I can remember, probably this kid who did himself up as a half-werwolf, half-boy deal.. It was pretty cool. He was split right down the middle.

I had a friend who wrote 'oscillating #1' on his shirt and a ball cap and had a big foam #1 finger that said 'oscillating' on it. He also kept going ?WOOOO! I love oscillating!? throughout the evening.

And? well if you don?t get the joke at this point there?s not much I can do for you.

Anything that doesn't show too much skin or cleavage, such as a cat costume that is more lingerie than anything else.

If my boyfriend's Kyon costume arrives before then I'll go as Haruhi. If not, then I'll just wear my Suiseiseki costume and he can just wear some cargo pants, a sweater, and a pair of glasses and pass himself off as Jun.

I'd like to thank (presumably) America, for introducing the fancy dress ideas for; Witch-Slut, Ghoul-Whore and Vampire-Prostitute, too many to mention, but I'm running through the list in my head! (ahhh mental imagery....)

where was I? Ah yes

seriously, as a red blooded male.....THANK YOU!

We had a competition at uni for an accommodation rivalry. I guess it's not strictly Halloween but it was held on the 31st anyway.

A team of 5 from our area went dressed as Megatron knock offs (basically just a spiky transformers in dark colours with fluorescent red contact lenses in) made out of cardboard. The best bit was that if they all stood together they could re-arrange the cardboard to make a car. God knows how long they spent working out the costume but it was pretty amazing, especially as none of them are geeky types. And they won.

I need some ideas for this year though (I like the knock-and-play-dead, though here in Birmingham that could go badly wrong).
