Favourite Valve multiplayer game?

So whats everyone favourite Valve multiplayer game? I find myself playing alot of Day of Defeat or Team Fortress 2.

It doesnt need to be a retail game, mods also count. Or games that you wish it had multiplayer.

Also does the Escapist have any Steam groups for any of the multiplayer platforms?

I wish Portal came with a multiplayer game. Just imagine playing TAG! like kids on a playground again except with portal guns! I'd have fun.

oh, yea. sven co-op is the first video game that I ever played, and my brother let me play it on his account. I can still hearthe ringing in my ears from the constant gunfire. the new versions out, and you should try it guys.

Seems like theres alot of love for TF2 and L4D(Not like its a suprise...). But seems to be lil' love for mods. And yes I remenber Sven co-op. It was quite fun.

tf2 or tf classic. really the only map i like in tf2 is 2fort, in tfc all the maps are similar to 2fort (like minded people lookup 'fortress forever'...)

Is TFC a valve game or some quake mod?

Team Fortress Classic is a Valve mod of Half Life 1 wich is a remake of the mod from Quake's Team Fortress.

Then again, I only ever played them on an on-campus only dedicated server. And even then, usually with at least one or two other people I knew, possibly even in the same room.
