Basically, what are people's favourite webcomics, and why? Sorry if this thread has been done before, but I searched and there was nothing, and I'm not sifting through 270 pages in the Off-Topic Discussion forum to check.

Personally I quite liked Yahtzee Takes On The World, although I appreciate many don't and Yahtzee himself said it was bad (at least, that's what I was told before on this site). Other greats for me are Penny Arcade, Looking For Group and, more recently, VG Cats. What do others think?

VG Cats would be more up there on the list if they updated at any sort of regular rate.

But I usually check the following:
Better Than Cheeses
Ctrl-Alt-Del (Yeah yeah, I've heard every insult on Tim Buckly. The guy may or may not be a dick, but I enjoy the comic)
And
White Ninja

If I were to throw 'toons' in there as well, I'd for sure be adding Homestar Runner.
To me, that website is the funniest stuff on the web. I loves me some Homestar Runner.

Penny Arcade, sometimes I read it and see my future self. VG cats is good to but I usually forget about it because of the infrequent updates.

Yeah, they actually parodied it themselves when they did a strip with Leo and Aeris complaining about the release time and reliability of Nintendo for Super Smash Bros Brawl. They said people who are unreliable should be killed in some way, then hurriedly announced new updates every Monday. I'm not so sure that they've actually stuck to that, though...

I have Questionable Content and XKCD bookmarked in my browser.

QC gives valueable insight on indie culture, and has been around pretty much forever.

XKCD has corny programming jokes that I can talk about with my nerdy real life friends.

I don't mind reading Xkcd and Penny Arcade. Xkcd is a bit hit and miss, but I'm always getting a laugh out of reading Penny Arcade.

My favourites include Questionable Content, xkcd, Dr. McNinja, Order of the Stick (my first webcomic), Gunnerkrigg Court and Girl Genius. I have several others bookmarked, but those are my favourite. Curious how all but one has a running storyline. Must be just my preference.

Oh, there's also Awkward Zombie, which almost always gets a laugh out of me. Far more often than VGcats at any rate.

I took a look at 8-bit theatre, and am slogging my way through it, slowly. But I am yet to see what makes it so much better than all the other sprite comics I've seen. The humour still seems to involve explicitly stating things, walloftexts and abuse of running gags just as much as the other ones.

Concerned, a comic made with Gmod about the adventures of Gordon Frohman.

Its probley the only comic series I've read that will always make you at least chuckle. Most web comics bairly make me smile half the time.

This one is my favorite. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.77525] (Do I get my cameo now?) (Seriously: It is my favorite.)

Others I really like:
VG Cats
Cyanide & Happiness (I love its dark humor that makes me fell like a horrible person)
XKCD (Very smart, but sometimes too smart)

PennyArcade,
Applegeeks,
Girls with Slingshots,
Finder's Keepers,
Sequential Art (when Jolly Jack comes back...),
The Abominable Charles Christopher,
Nemu-Nemu (simply for cuteness factor),
Johnny Wander,
The Meek
and Crowfeathers.

They're all the ones i read and have bookmarked.
They're all fantastic.

[EDIT]: While i'm still here, the Perry Bible Fellowship when they were still around was HENCH!
