Who else here is an Aussie, what do you do? What are your favourite games?

I work for the government now but I used to be a games tester. I love CS:S, RPG's like Oblivion (heavily modded), and have been playing way too much League of Legends lately.

Favorite games are Mass effect 2, fallout games, and many others

Ill play almost any genre as long as its good, If I had to have a preference however I would day action RPG's they usually have good story and good playtime

thing that pisses me off most about gaming today is the dreaded words "5 hour campaign" mulitplayer is ok But really its turning me off the FPS genre , that and fans who hate everythign but thats part of life

You mean you want longer single player campaign's in FPS's Vault101?
I'm not sure what I'd suggest there, I do tend to like multi-player FPS's personally.

I forgot to mention TF2, which I've never played enough but I really do enjoy.

Queenslander, I don't do anything, favourite games include FFVII, Civilization II, SimCity 3000 and Fallout 3, plus a hell of a lot more, of course.

Another Queenslander, I'm currently on a pension, used to work for Disability services, headache much lol.

Anyway, I love Rpg's, I'm currently playing (well, replaying in some cases lol) Dragon age Origins Awakenings, Dragon age 2, Star Trek Online, Lord of the Rings online and the Witcher.

My Favourite games are Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, Star wars KOTOR, Mass Effect, Fable and Dragon age. Oh, and good old Age of Empires

I'm looking forward to playing Dragon Age for the first time soon, just have to wait for the new hard drive I ordered to arrive because there is literally just no more room on my poor old 40GB PS3 and it'd be too inconvenient to delete anything.

I had an emotional break down at work and could no longer function, you ever work with mentally disabled people 24/7? Work night shifts for three weeks straight with 2 days off? The crash and burn rate for people in my former line of work was 2 years, I managed 4 and a half.

Now I play video games, drink coffee and generally be a sassy little nerd. There's a lot less stress.

I lived in Canberra from age 8-15, recovering from that could have been what made me apply for the pension and if that was the case you could hardly blame me for it either.

Another South Aussie here. Just finished my PhD and trying to find time for some games.

I love RPG's but my partner is trying to drag me into co-op FPS so we are currently messing around with borderlands.

I don't think of my minecraft habit as a game so much as a work avoidance device.

Favourite games is tricky, but Majora's Mask, Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, and Diablo 2 are high-ranking on my list.

Work Road Crash Rescue pretty much full time and am a part time Events co-ordinator for the local Council... Only just left the RAN not too long ago.
