Is this....real? Seriously, it's April 1st and no one told me, right?

Good god.

HALO HAS BEEN VIOLATING ME FOR YEARS.

OH GOD I NEVER KNEW.

*sob*
Shut up or they'll start claiming Halo is a training tool for necrophiliacs (and possibly pedos if they ignore the fact that kids shouldn't be playing).

Halo is a squat-thrust and profanity simulator, silly. It just has those weird loading screens where you shoot stuff.

yeah its annoying but "sexually assaulted" a seriously pushing it, even though the guy was clearly in the wrong she could have just done like others suggest and log off. Though I agreee measures to hinder such annoying actions would help

How does she know her avatar didn't like it and just didn't want to let on?

Seriously though the whole thing is a bit funny and overblown. I have to agree with the consensus that the harasser was being a total PoS and the harassee is being overdramatic with the offense taken.

What The Fuck. Seriously people, if this is sexual assualt then everyone who's played Halo 3 online has been sexually assualted repeatedly.
Playing Halo is opening yourself up for all types of abuse. Same goes for all online interactions thats why so many girl gamers use male avatars. (makes sense)

I weep for a society that feels that rampant doucebaggery is acceptable. Take back your society.

Should I sue someone for assaulting me in Team Fortress 2?
Seriously, anyone's who's been remotely near a console's online functions should be aware of the horrors that reside within. And anyone who regards avatar interactions as real should probabl get a better grip on reality, I know that most people are connected to their characters. They can sympathize and even feel bad for misfortune upon the character, but when you're starting to identify yourself with it, it's probably gone a little too far.

Back in my WoW days I was the guy that would pick a random server if mine was down and find some person to harass using the /follow and /train emotes until they logged or I got bored, usually the latter.

If legal action is to take place shut down Home, paying money for an avatar's t-shirt so I can stand around in a slightly different way? Robbery.

Why is Australia still allowed to have opinion on things?
Hell if I know. (On a side note, does anybody else ever forget that Mississippi exists?)

I always find it interesting all the asshats that come out of the woodwork when articles are posted like this. It's always the same tripe, women are not welcome anywhere near a gaming console. They go into a virtual space, they get sexually harassed, then all the douchebags post comments like "Lighten up!" or "She's stupid!". It's sexual harassment guys, pure misogynistic sexual harassment. This shit goes on in real life too. It's the fact that men see women as objects to do whatever they want to them, both online and offline. However online they know they can get away with it more, because they have a fanclub of people like y ou who will make her out to be some whiner when IT'S WRONG. Such behavior like the one she was subjected to IS WRONG. She has full rights to be where she was and not get harassed!

I know 90% of you will disagree with me and pretty much all of you will start with more sexual harassment towards me in some way... all that does is prove my point.
