Have you been pushed to your limits with a game? Online or Offline? Has something so terrible happened to you during your time of leisure that pissed you off so much you threw your controller across the room or bashed your keyboard against the wall? Did you kick a pet just because it was the nearest thing to you at the time?
Tell us exactly what happened.. What game was it? What happened? and how did you react?

I'll start with the time is was getting my ass kicked in Soul Calibur 4 hard mode and tried to chew off my analog sticks every time Talim knocked me over or threw me. I was having a very bad day that day.

Xbox Morrowind, when played on 360.

Dear god. The loading. It's not bad on just an Xbox, though. But when you play the Xbox disc, in a 360 console. HOLY FUCK.

Super Street Fighter IV.

The AI. Period. At all times. Especially the last 2 fights of Arcade mode.

Gunstar Heroes.

The Boss Rush stage at the end. Holy. Fuck.

Vanquish.

Challenge Mode. Just...Challenge mode. Hard mode, done. GOD HARD mode, done. Beat the game without dying, done. But Challenge Mode is just nuts.

I mean, I can get frustrated, but I don't rage over it. If I'm having trouble with a game I just put the controller down, turn off the console and do something else for a while.

One incident: During Mafia 2 on Hard difficulty there's an incredibly cheap boss fight where the boss has motolovs and several henchmen. I couldn't possibly make it, and I haven't touched the game in quite a while. That reminds me, my friend might want his game back soon...

I did that. Stand UNDER his location, wait until he runs out of guards. Then back up slowly, take a quick shot, and dive back under.

Seriously, if the character can kick further than your character is tall, then the game is seriously broken.

I rage at some things, never so badly that I react more than throwing a controller on my bad and turning red... although, I guess the one time I raged REALLY hard, was when me and my friend were playing Halo 2 on legendary a few years ago, after starting to get frustrated on the same level we retried and the minute those damned aliens were on me I was dead, my friend was close to follow... we both through our controllers on his bed and immediately turned off the xbox and played WoW

once I was hitting some CoD4 online, I was hosting the server, and there was this kid from the states I think he was, who was fucking insulting me, calling me all those racist names and saying I'm a "poorfag" because he had lag

I just replied "listen, son, I AM hosting this server to play with some folks over the internet, but I don't have to put up with little fucks like you, so I'm kicking you out, kid, get yourself another server to whine on"

well, there's the russian part where you gotta help your sniper buddy who got shot in CoD4, you know, at the last part where you gotta hold off, not keep running

or the, I think it was the 3rd stage in 10.000 Bullets for PS2, holy shit there's a ton of cannon fodder enemies you gotta shoot there, and all the fuckers with shotguns, it just ain't fair T-T

I've never been, like, controller snapping frustrated. But I have been all "FFFFFFFUUUUUUUU--" when games instakill me hours after my last save. And there have been sections of games that have taken fifty tries for me to get through, mostly on luck rather than skill. If I ever start getting really pissed off, I just turn off the game for a while, go do something else, and come back sometime later when I feel calmer and better able to meet the challenge.
