I mean characters from a book/movie/game that you really hate.

It can be from any kind of media, as long as they are fictional.

I have to go with Henry Bowers from IT. I hate him SO much, he is just one big asshole who goes around being an ass just for the sake of it.

Children from any game that isn't Earthbound or a Zelda title.

Kids in real life are fine, really, because most of them tend to shut up and stay out of your way. But children in video games have the nasty habit of being intentionally annoying (see Silent Hill 2) or stuck up self righteous pricks (see Wind Waker... Okay, most Zelda titles). I want a child in a video game to just shut up and either a) stay the hell out of my way, or b) die horribly in a supposedly tragic cutscene.

Super Macho Man from Punch-Out!! I always dodge all his attacks except the one that can KO you in one hit. I never succeed in dodging that attack for some reason, it's extremely irritating.

Probably the Chaotix characters in Sonic. I can handle most of the absurdly bloated cast, but those guys suck.

Oh, and that damn Moe the clown in the second Phoenix Wright. He's why I haven't beaten it. Make that the whole exclusive cast for that case. And Lucky from King of the Hill. The show sucks now thanks to him.
