FIFA 12 UT share thread

Was just thinking i don't think i've ever seen a FIFA 12 thread about UT on here so here's one for all us FIFA (and general football) enthusiasts.
I'm currently rocking an Italian/Serie A UT with a 4-3-1-2 formation with:
Buffon(GK)
Taiwo(LB)-Bonnuci(CB)-Mexes(CB)-Abate(RB)
Hamsik(CAM)-Boateng(CM)-Mauri(CAM) or i play with Marchisio (CM)
Cassano(CF) or Palacio(CF)
Alexandre Pato(ST)-Miccoli(ST) or Matri(ST) or even Gameiro(ST) (even though he's French and plays for PSG he's still a beast and i kept when i sold my developing Ligue 1 squad)

There's plenty of room for improvement in my centre halves with Thiago Silva being a dream signing but alas he costs stupid money so Chiellini will eventually be bought. I'm also saving up for a Cavani after deciding to keep saving and buy Pato who was well worth it and scored a hat trick in his debut.
I personally can't stand Fernando Torres in this game and constantly gives me headaches whenever i play against him, i wish they made out of form cards and bumped him down like hell.
Also a well played with Spanish/Liga BBVA side is an absolute nightmare for me and i've lost miserably numerous times against them but well played with is key as a big bucks wonder team is no good without a competent player.

So yeah general UT share thread with your general commentary of your play and your experiences.

Torres has been in terrible form, they should have knocked his rating well down.
I haven't bought FIFA 12 yet, I can't stand the new defending. I have a UT on it though a Sunderland 4-5-1 it lines up like this GK: Gordon LB: Richardson RB: O'Shea CB: Brown CB: Turner LM: El Mohammady RM: Larsson DM: Cattermole CAM: Sessegnon and ST: Bendtner. Seb Larsson is a beast at free kicks and Sessengnon is ace

Heh, thought I'd never see a FUT thread in here.
I have a few teams that I alternate between randomly. My best team is my Serie A team because I find that somehow they seem to play much better for me than any other league team.

So I have a 4-1-2-1-2: Julio Cesar (GK), Abate (RB), Lucio (CB), Chiellini (CB), Taiwo (LB), Vidal (CDM), Krasic (RM), Lavezzi (LM), Di Natale (CAM), Miccoli (ST), Cavani (ST). I rarely lose with this team because of the huge amount of pace and power of pretty much every player in the team.

Cavani, Miccoli and Di Natale are absolutely lethal if they can get their shot off. Miccoli is also a beast freekick taker and I've scored loads of freekicks with him despite the fact that I'm awful at freekicks in general. Cavani is a tank who can shake off almost any challenge and finish chances so consistently so I would recommend him to anyone because I don't think there's a striker for a similar price to him that is even close to how good he is.

Couple players I can't stand: Welliton and Podolski. Every time I play against either one of them I know they are gonna cause me problems, don't know why but it seems like they will always get goals against me even though I'm usually pretty solid at defending, especially with someone like Chiellini who in my opinion is by far the best CB in the game.

Personally, i think Buffon is far better than Julio Cesar in the game. Every time i play a team like yours which is like the big bro Serie A side to mine haha it's always Buffon who saves my arse while Julio Cesar lets in some right crap 'ens.
Chiellini is like the upgraded Bonnuci and god dammit i want him bad but he's so bloody expensive and i get by with my defence they're not terrible and i can play defence well enough.

Also i second your Welliton and Podolski shout. I only recently played against both of them for the first time and they caused me massive problems. Pace is a ***** when you're playing against it but a god send against a less skilful opponent who can't coordinate his defence effectively.

When i have Cavani, alongside my Pato I will be unstoppable (hopefully)

Yeah, Cesar has made a few shockers for me actually. He's one of those keepers that seems to just parry EVERYTHING but actually catch nothing, which can lead to some embarassing goals conceded. I'll try out Buffon and see if he's better (he probably is).
