First of all this is most likely going to sound like a rant and it's something I want to get off my chest.
Now on to the story. My class was planning on a Star Wars project (dark and light sides) and were almost ready to film (fleshed out script, storyboards, props, costumes, etc). Then there was one day when my group had one of those days that nothing goes right. He just blocked everyone else out, even when we were trying to help. Then he comes it and says that we weren't doing our work; one of my friends getting penalized because of the director. The director was fine before we started working on the project but got all up tight when we started working. He e-mailed the group saying "that if this person has a problem with me being director they need to get over it now". I wasn't the only one that didn't like him, but in the end the project was postponed until next year. The whole class had a talk and he deliberately called me out as the sole person trying to "undermine" him. When the speech all I did was apologize. Yes I hated working with him, but I loved the project more than I hated him and will try to revive the project. In the end most everyone (void of a few friends and neutrals) hated me, blaming the collapse of the project solely on me. I did my job, I wrote half the script, did part of the storyboarding, planned the props and bought props with my own money ($68 worth of props). In the end what do I get? Shunned. I don't know if it truly was my fault because the most I did was complain to my friends about him. It's gotten to me and I feel like it's my fault. I have taken the film class for three years and then a first year comes in and tramples all over me. From what you've read does it just seem like him and I made the perfect combination for a disaster or what?
