We all have those films that we ended up watching more than once in a day or could watch all day everyday, films that you can never seem to get bored of.
My films are: Mad Max (The first) Dirty Harry, Zulu and Napoleon Dynamite. I was once ill and ended up watching Mad Max 4 times in a row because I couldn't be bothered to turn it off.

What are your films?

Not many for me. I don't do that anymore.

When I was a kid I used to watch Mortal Kombat so often I knew and recited every line of dialogue before the actors did.
I used watch Men in White all the time. It's a TV movie parodying other science fiction of the day that only I remember and no one else.
Lately, I have watched Attack the Block thrice in a short period. I think that's all.

Once Upon a Time in the West and The Assassination of Jesse James. I love westerns, and they're both so damn long that once I've finished the film, I'd have virtually forgotten how they begin.

Captcha: Gregory Peck. Pretty appropriate given the Western-y nature of this post :p

Heh, I rented Men In White (I find it funny how the aliens in that film were the discarded alien/ monster costumes from Power Rangers) years ago!

Anyway I guess that would be Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Forrest Gump, Catch me if you can, Anchorman and The Shawshank Redemption. In saying so, I know for sure I will get bored of those movies very quickly if I watched them in a loop.

I love films which try to give the message that living in the moment is the way to a happy life and not to rely on superficial societal values. Films that point out that we are all stuck in social conditioning I also like (for similar reasons). I always see things I missed in these films every time I watch them.

These include American Beauty, The Matrix (first one, not the others), Forest Gump, Fight Club and Peaceful Warrior

And...Groundhog Day.

The only prob with Groundhog Day is that watching it over and over again drills bits into your head without you even realising it's doing it. It's an awesome film though.

Ferris Bueller's day off and Office space come to mind.

Pineapple Express, John Dies at the End and The Avengers. Especially John Dies at the End, the film is like the second coming of movie Jesus. In fact, I have to thank the Escapist, cuz I heard about JDatE through a thread here, so thank you whoever made that thread, you opened my eyes to the best movie and book ever, of all time.

Hot Fuzz. Really funny film, and some good action too.

Maybe Spirited Away as well. The atmosphere, the animation, the characters, all so good.

I got a giant crush on that movie from the first moment I saw it. That's not to say it's my all time favourite movie, but something about it made me want to keep snuggling up to it

When it came out on blu-ray I actually did watch it like twice a day for the following week. That's how much it endeared me.

There are a couple I think...

Avengers
Baseketball
Captain America: The First Avenger
Clearks
Devilman (live action from the...2000's)
Fist of the North Star (95 live action)
Incredible Hulk, The
Meaning of Life
Orgasmo
Pulp Fiction
Punisher: War: Zone
The Room
Thor

I could watch those over and over for various reasons. The Room and Fist of the North Star are fucking hilarious for all the wrong reasons while Orgasmo and Meaning of Life are hilarious in all of the right ways. Punisher: War Zone is my all-time favorite comic-based film. Avengers and Hulk have a ton of collateral damage and I love that kind of thing.

If I had to pick one movie, it would Blade Runner (director's cut of course). I just love the atmosphere they create in that movie. There are other movies I could watch time and time again but this was the first one that came to mind.

Well, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly comes to mind. By far, my all-time favorite Western. I still get chills from watching the big showdown scene. Fantastic movie. I could never see myself getting bored of it.

I love you.

OT:
The Truman Show is my favorite film of all time, so yeah. I can watch that one over and over and over.

The other one I love to watch constantly is The People vs George Lucas. It's just such a fascinating look at pop culture and how it affects us, ending on a very fanboyish, but also very hopeful note.

Bad Boys II and the Rush Hour trilogy. I actually watched Bad Boys II three times in a row this one time. I love that movie so much that I can quite literally say exactly what the characters say before they even say it.

I think I could watch Crank, the Rush Hour trilogy, most of Schwarzenegger's films, and the Toy Story trilogy on a loop. They're just classics. Well, apart from Crank, but it's still enjoyable.

I never knew that! I feel like watching Dr Strangemeister's (I think that was his name) introduction song again.

Anyway I guess that would be Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Forrest Gump, Catch me if you can, Anchorman and The Shawshank Redemption. In saying so, I know for sure I will get bored of those movies very quickly if I watched them in a loop.
That's why I don't re-watch my favourite movies very often. I'm afraid I won't have the joy of watching them for long if I overdo it. BTW, that Attack the block movie I mentioned has the same writer of the Scott Pilgrim movie. You may enjoy watching it. I think it went under the radar outside the UK. At least because I hadn't even heard about it until 2013.

Rock of Ages.

I love 80's rock, and Julianne Hough is really, really hot. Plus, it's a lot less about the story and more about beloved celebrities butchering beloved songs. And Tom Cruise can actually sing pretty decent.

I don't think I could watch any actually good movies on repeat because that would probably ruin them for me.

I'm more into dramas than comedies, but it's easier to laugh on repeat so...

Grandma's Boy and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World would be my top choices.

The Breakfast Club, The Crow, The Wedding Singer, Boondock Saints, Serenity, and I'm sure there's other just really entertaining movies that I could (and have) watch over and over again but those are the ones I can think of at the moment.
