1. That supid Gas Masked guy at the end of Advanced Wars 1 (GBA) He cheats with that stupid meteor strike!

2. Mortal Kombat 3 (SNES) I was young back then and I never tried recently... I wonder if I could now?

Dark Coud's final boss, The Dark Genie.
He was very hard. Rewind back to when I was trying the game, and I had managed to get to him after much MUCH labour. And he PWNED. MY. ARSE. Fast forward two years, and I STILL haven't beaten him.

Just about any King of Fighters game ever seems to have a last boss that reads your inputs and makes it impossible to deal any sort of damage whatsoever to it without punishing you with cheap shit that takes 2/3 of your health bar.

Especially KOFs 99 and 2002.

Never beat the singe player modes in those.

The Final boss of Half life opposing force. Around the time I had to whip out my barnacle gun to jump a gap created by bridges falling of their own accord while the lizard alien thing patiently waited for my safe arrival, I turned the game off. So Lame.

The final boss of Final Fantasy I for GBA. I plan on getting back to it eventually, but that could be awhile.

Lunar Legends for the GBA, made it to the final boss at level 40 with extreme ease, and then got completely obliterated in a few turns... I stopped playing because I hate games with that kind of balance issue

So very true! I've never beat them without continuing with the "start boss with 1/3 health" option.

By the time I got to the last boss in Parasite Eve 2 I'd run out of most of my ammo and health and I couldn't be bothered going right back and preserving them. In summary, I gave up.

I never got around to beating the last boss in Legacy of Kain: Defiance, It's not that he was impossibly hard, it's just that I had to return it to a friend of mine 'cause he had to return it to someone else; never got that game again...

The Boss on MGS 3 (hard I think) I was using cheats because it made me feel like a big man and then when I got to her I got bored and stopped then the next day when I went back I had lost my Action Replay Max disc so could not use any cheats and have got beaten every time since.

The last boss of Advance Wars was just a war of atriation. ;)

I never finished Psychonauts since tent part of the Meat Circus was to hard. Since I doubt the ending is in any way suprising I probably didn't miss much.

I never beat Metroid Prime 2's final boss, but that's mostly because I could only get in two attempts before my memory card was wiped. That was tragic.

Also, I never beat Vergil in DMC3. I never beat DMC4's last boss either, but that was more a matter of "I'm sick of this freaking game" than "this boss is too hard."

I think my Half-Life game was buggy so no matter what I did to the last boss, nothing happened. Fought him for hours, went to gameFAQs, BUT HE WOULDN'T DIE.

In Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast, *Cough*, I never beat the part where Chaos (the water monster) floods the city or something and you have to run around at light speed and he can tell where you're going and crush you to death. Not fun.
