So ok...
I've been playing the new final fantasy for 20+ hours or so, and its finally given me the option to deviate from the linear path of narrow corridors and battles - AFTER 20 HOURS!
My thought pattern:
"REJOICE!!!! YAY!!!! WOOO!!! I can explore the world a bit, do some side quests etc"
"ooooh look, new monsters"
"arghhhhh they all can one hit my characters!!!"
*Turns xbox off*
Anyone else noticed this?
I mean, you have to get most of the way through the game to get the option to do anything other than the story (which is definatly good, no doubt) ,but then its like the game devs decided to stop anyone acctually doing any exploring by making the monsters about a zillion levels too high.
Btw, im no final fantasy/RPG newbie, i know all about the upgrade system and the crystal bullshit, so dont give me any of that.
