Final Fantasy Dissidia 012: Fantastic or Flop?

Being a massive Final Fantasy fan as I am, and also being an avid gamer, I cast an eye to the 22nd March when Dissidia 012 releases itself in the UK. Now, I sit here and wonder as I count my pretty white notes that I have put aside for this, is it really going to be worth it?

The answer is probably yes, but I have always been unsure about prequels. So, let's see what the general feeling is about this. Is it likely to suffer from "expansion pack" sydrome? Or is it really going to blow our minds? Or is it just going to settle nicely somewhere in the middle, an acceptable addition to the Dissidia franchise but not enough to make us do a sex wee?

Wont know until it comes out. I thought KH:BBS Might be a bit of a flop being on a PSP but it raped KH2 on the PS2 in every way possible. (except the cramps in my left hand from a tiny analog stick)

Well I liked Dissidia. Will it be more of that? If so then I'll probably like it.

Of course it will suffer expansion pack syndrome, but if a formula isn't broke then please don't fix it.

It's like Pokemon. It's the first one, with new characters and a change of story. Nothing groundbreakingly changing.
