final fantsasy 14 Amazonbombed in japan?

I tried to search the forums for "final fantasy amazonbombed" but nothing came up, I did that because it is old news, but it seems weird if it hadn't been posted before.

But ahead to the topic. here is final fantasy 14 on amazon.co.jp:

While I remember the game received pretty bad reviews in the west, I always thought that these kind of games have been big in japan and that there would be a huge different in reviews from the west and the east.

Is square enix "well respected" in japan these days? as extra credits once said, when the west think of JRPGS, they usual only think on square enix?

A friend of mine who lived in japan for 5 years or so mid 00's said that a lot of her japanese friends and acquaintances told her that - in prevailing public opinion - "nobody cares about new final fantay", though FF7 is still big and advent children was a massively popular release with people clamoring over each other to get perticular character-painted limited release soda cans.

Just an anecdote though. I assume it's probably truthful.
