I do like how they fake us out with Spirit mode, announcing it has a little extra mode but then revealing it to be the story mode. Master trolling

Well Ken Masters turned out to be the only confirmed one from the leak.

What I wanna know is this Piranha Plant the first of the five DLC characters?

And they mentioned limited time offer? Does that mean it won't be avaliable in the long term for me to get him in my game?

1. not sure about if it counts as one of the five dlc but if I had to guess no because it doesn't come with a DLC stage

2. it's free for a limited time offer, if you don't get in time you have to pay for it

I was actually kind of confused at first, because I was expecting an Adventure mode ever since "Rathalos is a boss AND an assist trophy" and I was just starting to get a little disappointed at the seeming lack of the mode when Sakurai started talking about the Adventure Mode.

i realised that spirits battles and world of light are not the same thing. not sure if it's two sub division of spirits on the menu or it's a separate mode...

on second thought, i think i understand now how spirit mode work. when they showed the spirit mode details, everyone thought that the spirits were attaching to a figther and that you use that in like local matches.

But, we seen at the end, that the whatever thing that captured everyone, actually create copies of every figther. Now i heard a lot of people saying that you free caracter in spirit mode, but in fact, you battle a copy, the spirit that controls it is detached from it, and you put one of your spirit inside it to control the copy, and that copy is now on your team. so in that mode, you need a spirit to control a figther, or else it's just a lifeless doll...
