I know i am a loser for using firefox but i can't handle the no add-ons of chrome and all my favorites and saved passwords and what not, i know i can probably transfer them but i can't be bothered. Anyway firefox randomly crashes all the time on me, and i disabled everything to see what was wrong and it still does it, I have updated it and all of that. Anyone else have this problem and knows a possible fix? If not let's just hate on firefox!

Did you get the newest update yet? I had that problem for a while too but it went away afterwards.

What are you talking about? Firefox is good. Perhaps a fresh reinstall would help? Outside of that, why not actually go ask this question on the firefox forums intead of a site devoted more or less to video games?

I admit, the lastest version isn't all that great, but I still prefer it over Chrome because of the extensive customization that's already built in from the get-go.

Firefox is no longer cool?
To be honest, I never thought it was cool.

OT: Uninstall it, turn off your computer, count to 15, turn it back on, re-install it.

You can just get chrome, i think you get a popup on install asking if you want to transfer passwords and such.

Firefox crashes on me...once in a blue moon? Probably less than that. And when it does, I know why. I overloaded it, trying to do too many Flash things at once.

So...wish I could help.

Firefox does save favorites, it does come with add-ons, and it doesnt crash with me at least.

It even has session restore feature for when my laptop BSoD's. And it will.

Your issues with Firefox are probably just you. We will not think less of you for using Chrome, but probably less for using Explorer.

Yboolio does care, Yboolio is nice, you must have Yboolio confused with his apathetic twin, Oilooby. Damn I just freaking love typing Yboolio.

Same here. Also Flash player was a mess for me for a while at some point. Never understood why. A few updates later it's fine.

OT: Re-install with a fresh download?

I love firefox, and it never crashes on my machine.
You should check your computer about that problem.

Download and install CCleaner.

Delete FF.

Run the CCleaner cleaner and the registry cleaner.

Download and reinstall FF.

Should be sorted. :D

Unless it's a problem with it being a resource hog? I haven't had a problem with FF recently, including the beta, but my rig is above average so I might not notice if it's being greedy.

I like it too. Suggestion; a kindhearted but dim/slow person.
