Wow that looks simply incredible. This is how you do remake. and not just HD remastered.

age of dumbed down bioshock is over and now system shock is back. first system shock 1 remake then we will see system shock 3.

Even with the enhanced one out on GOG the original is still very weird and clunky, were as the second one is sane and playable out of the box without learning how first person Dos RPGs liked to be played. As others have said, the first one is still good, Its good on a story, rpg, and puzzle level but is held back by its own age.

Also Pre Alpha trailer give it some slack, Its not being out and sold yet.

i can see its 1994 game after all.

this remake is coming next year. means no system shock 3 before 2018 i guess. because its very early in development.

I never played either of the games, but I imagine those claustrophobic corridors are in keeping with the originals. It's got a really creepy atmosphere, but none of those enemies seemed to put up anything remotely close to a fight.

Also, obligatory Inception bwong at the end. When will those end?

Im so glad this franchise is not in the hand of AAA company. when bioshock infinite released nobody thought we will see system shock again especially in very good state.

As someone who doesn't really like ANY of the ___Shock games, I'm... not overwhelmed. It needs a lot more... something, but seeing how that's pre-alpha footage, I'll wait for at least pre-beta stuff.
