Other than leaning games like Reader Rabbit maths age 6-9 I think the first real game I played on my PC (that I can remember) would have to be HL2 way back in 2004. I think I got it for my birthday (as it was released in November I think) and I have loved and replayed that game ever since.
Hahahahhahaha!
Dude...The Learning Company games were my first PC games.
Ahhh the memories.
OT:The first game i played on my First Non-Handheld Console was Donkey Kong Country on a SNES my dad bought me at a Garage sale.
I've been trying to find it for ages now that I remembered what it was called recently to relive the memories. I'm trying to relive as far back as I can. First it was replaying HL2, Then it was some Jurrasic park game that I got from a cerial box (they never give PC games away in cerial boxes any more, I've just noticed) then it was a learning game called Adiboo which I remember playing for hours upon hours and then it's reader rabbit.
Easily some of the most played games of my life they are. Shame I can't find the adi or Reader rabbit ones. Makes me a little sad inside ;_;
I remember playing the Reader Rabbit Games, Pajama Sam, The ones with that Purple Car, Spy Fox, Super Sleuths, and some Game about these Kids trying to get off of a really wierd island with Berries and Scarabs.
It makes me wonder how Point and Click Adventure Games arnt my favorite kind considering some of my Favorite Early games ARE PaC Adventure.
Im Lucky my Grandma(She was the one with the PC when i was a Kid) still has most of them.
I might play one again one of these days, just for nostalgia Sake.
EDIT: and i do remember playing this game i got from a Box of Captain Crunch...
They don't give away Prizes like they used to.
