I got both Saints Row 2 and the Saboteur from GOG and they are both horribly broken.

Today, I saw I could get Lichdom: Battlefield for only $2 so, I gave it a try.

It froze up my PC when I tried to put it to 1080P and I rebooted. Now it is working and is pretty fun. From moment one, I could blow up bad guys with magic much easier than I could kill a crab in Skyrim in the same manner.

so far so good.

Any great PC/Console sales ongoing that you know of? Have you played Lichdom? Your thoughts?

While I can't help you with Saints Row 2, I would like to point out the Saboteur DOES NOT like to work with multiple core processors. You have to manually cap your processor to 4 cores for it to work correctly in modern PCs. A pain, yes, but the game is more than worth it.

As long as it is easy to take that cap back off, I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Yeah you went out of the gate with 2 games that struggled as PC ports, before GOG ever even existed. Can confirm The Saboteur is well worth the playtime though!

As for me, when X-Wing and TIE fighter came out optimised for modern PCs on GOG and Steam, I rushed over to GOG and got them so damn fast.... They're flawless save for the replay feature replaying at a million miles an hour somehow, but meh- actual gameplay is still solid.

Do you mean Lichdom Battlemage? Because if so, yes, I was suckered into buying it and gave it a solid 20 minutes or so. Once I realized that that 20min would just be the whole game over and over I uninstalled and never looked back. I had no interest in sticking with that mediocrity for any more time than I already had. Sorry, hope I'm not bursting your bubble, I'm just a little salty about that.

As far as sales right now? I'unno... But in the past I've scooped up Rogue Squadron for a good price on GOG. I got Arkham Knight for $6 on CDkeys and it came with Asylum and City as well, so that was a nice surprise.
